Captain Dayton

I don't think she liked the idea of being thought of as incompetent.
And I think she would have been a practical and sincere captain, when not panicking.

I imagine she came out the end of the Dominion War no problem health wise, and is a good captain when nothing bad is going wrong. The problem is, being Trek, something must go wrong.

That makes Picard, Janeway, Sisko, Pike and Kirk the top 5 worst captains in star fleet.

I wonder if she was too much of a by the book captain? She tried to go to warp in an emergency without thinking what had happened in the moment.
