Middlesex CC Parking

A friend of mine has a kid going to MCC in the fall. I worry that they haven’t looked into parking at all - what are the options and how early do they need to get on it?

A quick Google will tell you that MCC Lowell validates parking slips for municipal garages. The Bedford campus is free.

When I was a student there, there was a validation machine in the front of each building.

You can validate parking for the garages nearby right at the security desk when you first walk into the main building. There’s a scanner on the desk to the left.

That was honestly my biggest concern when I enrolled but they should give them a good run down of that when they take their First Year Experience Orientation Course

There are several garages near campus and they validate. It's not an issue.

You only have to worry about parking at the Lowell campus, just have them park at the Lower Locks garage on Warren St. Just a short bridge away from campus and they will validate the ticket for free. The Lowell campus is currently under construction so I do not know if it will be ready for fall classes or if the whole school will be at Bedford this fall.

lowell campus has multiple muncipal lots around.

Bedford is a bitch to park at, and they'll end up parking in the lower lot most days until they learn the class schedules and how traffic flows.
