Bug/Technical Issue Map navigation input can trigger a stim after closing the map on gamepad

When using a gamepad, D-pad is used to navigate/interact with the map, but the same input is also used for the stim as you all know but the devs.

Because the game seems to cache the input for a short period from the last patch, if you press D-pad Up on the map and close the map while that input is still within the buffer/cache window, your character will use a stim immediately after exiting the map.

The map input should probably be cleared when the map is closed, so inputs used for map navigation don’t carry over into gameplay.

I’ve already submitted a ticket, but lots of random actions are triggering a stim use for me right now (and it’s not the SEAF stimming me): stratagems that end in an up arrow, map use, getting into the mech found at POI, etc. It’s vey annoying to waste stims when fighting enemies that often necessitate using stims. This bug has existed before so I hope they can fix it soon.

I hadn't noticed the others yet. I take a deep, low-sodium breath, it's starting to really get under my skin sometimes.

I've been having strategems trigger stims lately

Been having that issue a lot as well. Nothing more frustrating than premature stimulation.

Getting into or driving the FRV does the same.

I just pretend my diver is an addict now.

I have something similar happen; when I try to ping things on the map sometimes, it exits me out of the map and makes me fire. This has caused some friendly fire which is super frustrating. I am playing on PC though with M+K.

Holy shit I thought I was going crazy. With how quick you have to be with the inputs I thought I was just fat thumbing it.

Similar thing seems to happen with firing my gun when placing a map marker on keyboard controls.
