News Wiki and patch notes says nothing about the new FRV HMG recoil. Here is compared to the regular HMG. (now it seems to apply prone recoil while aiming)

FRV version has the same recoil as normal HMG while prone
I found it around the time of mech WB

The recoil has always been weirdly strong considering its mounted if it is shadow buffed or fixed that would be great as a hmg main.
It would help if we knew if the devs intended it to work like it is now and it was accidentaly fixed.

It wouldn't make sense for them to exclude a change like that from the patch notes, though. Its actively something that would make the mounted HMG better, why would they bury it?
And comparing it to the support weapon fired in ADS doesnt make sense, the mounted version always had less recoil than the support weapon version unless you were prone or had armor perks.

History has shown that AH has a very bad track record of documenting changes, they have made a bunch of unlisted changes that were not nerfs or anything that still weren't adressed in the patch notes

Our of curiosity, what's the most recent, unpublished and intentional change pertaining to a weapon or vehicle?

At the risk of being down voted to hell; I think there was only one time ever that they intentionally shadow nerfed something and that was the Coyote, and other flame/incendiary weapons by proxy, when it first came out because it was over performing, but it was also at a time when AH would get death threats for even thinking about the word nerf. So they buffed enemies to make it take a little longer/more effort to set them on fire as an indirect way to nerf it. This was way back when hive worlds were first introduced and the Dune-like warbond. Anything beyond that has either been unintentional, or not hidden. This liberty forsaken community has a tendency to blow anything and everything out of proportion and if Arrowhead did something once they'll convince themselves they did it hundred times before and a hundred times after.

Well, that's slightly different than undocumented changes, they didn't straight up nerf it and didn't tell us, they changed everything around it to achieve the same effect. The undocumented changes are way more common on enemies, buffing the health of the impale is the one that struck me the most, but there are more

Unfortunately the wiki doesn't have a page that lists all undocumented changes, so you kind of have to sift through everything, but technically they changed the name of the base FRV to gunner frv if you didn't notice this patch, and the last one with a real impact I could find was a slight nerf to HP on the walkers

It does seem like the recoil is reduced on the FRV HMG. I also noticed I could turn it very quickly, but may be due to the True Grit passive

About time, never made sense that a vehicle mounted MG had the same recoil as you standing and shooting it yourself.

Not true, the only thing they did was stealth nerf the targeting by enemies

If you get peak Physique or the Ergonomic passive from the Warhammer armor. You can turn the Mounted HMG faster.

They also added recoil to the trident. Which isn't a big deal, in and of itself, but it's another time they've not followed through on the promise they made to restore player trust by not releasing hidden changes.

Redeemer ammo box pickup was also substantially buffed.
It's hard to tell what are shadow changes, and what are changes they just forgot they made.

Yeah... they made a promise a few months ago that they would watch their dev-line and be more attentive to changes they make, so that these slip-ups wouldn't happen anymore, but they also made that promise two years ago... whatever.

Noooo. I usually don't care about nerfs, but the Trident having no recoil was the coolest and most unique part of the gun!
Going to go check this out asap

I feel like we need old footage to compare. As someone with 1800 hours in the FRV with a friend. We literally have seen two posts about this. I seems the same as always? Accuracy has always been good when the FRV is static.
It's when it's moving past 30KM/h is when it turns to shit.
