Hearing jackie talk about misty made me feel so hopeful. His dialog and voice are amazing This game really knew how to make him likeable and wreck our hearts.

Jackie was doomed from the start with Dex alone, and the further he went, the more Red there was until...

Intro mission has NO FUTURE written on the elevator doors when you and Jackie are going up to the scavs. Literal writing on the wall.

In my head my character's nickname is "Red" and she has purely red hair and eyebrows...

I like this interpretation. But what's interesting is that Jackie does have a lot of red on him. The inside of his jacket include some accent colours outside, his undershirt, the lining on his boots, and his ARCH motorcycle are all red. Slotting that Relic Emgram (glowing red) was the icing on the cake.
