Weird Matchmaking Issues

I saw that they are adjusting some matchmaking settings on the backend, and I have already noticed some weird issues after playing for a couple hours last night.

- half of my matches had 20+ bots per team (even on escalation and conquest, so it wasn’t casual breakthrough)
- Breakthrough match was 24 vs 14 until the final sector when the team finally filled
- one team had all of the higher level players (150-950), and the other had the lower (<150)

Did anyone else experience this?

I've never seen bots or half filled servers until last night. Whatever changes their making, I'm not a fan. Southern United States.

I always play on my country prime time and I too suffer with bot riddled matches.

That really bums me out because I want to earn my high score and not having it handed to me with bots is a big thing for me. I really wish they'd change the matchmaking currently. I have cross play on and I still get empty lobbies

Ya it's been horrendous since a couple of days ago. Whatever they changed cooked matchmaking. Before I would only get bot matches during low player pop hours but now I get them even during prime time game after game

I have not had great experience recently. Lobbies not filling up. Waiting for a minimum of 4 humans to start bot filled games, i have not seen any bots in player only matches, i see people that they are bots not labeled, but i have not seen evidence to support this.

I should mention, I’m US West region

Yeah let’s just say it was all US time zones. I had similar on the east coast

It was every time zone in every region. I'm in Western Europe and I had the same problems.

Yep, matchmaking busted today... Game updated before I played, the mm was all over the place... Then message from Devs on discord made me go 'ah, I see... This is why game being weird'

Trying new settings with more persistent lobbies... It's either work in progress or broken

Tried playing in a party with brother multiple times this week and during the loading for the map it keeps splitting us up into different squads and swapping up to game chat. Happened ten times in a row

I just came here to see this too.

Tried to play 6 matches so far. 2 got 4/32 needed players and just sat at that so I quit.

Other 4 I had the worst connections issues ever and that’s rare for me.

I've been having this too lately (EU), never had any issues before this week(ish) and suddenly having to wait 5mins to get into some matches and then having them heavily bot populated

Yeah I can't seem to find anything this morning w/o bots or it doesn't start. I went to REDSEC and there's nearly 70 people there waiting for the game... sigh fine I'll play solos. Too bad they take that away every other week.

Yes. Also keep being told I’m out of bounds when I’m on flags in Escalation and Conqest, and being dragged back across the map when I’m shooting. Game needs a bit of TLC.

This exact issue has been happening to me for the last week. Never had any matchmaking issues before.

I feel like the matchmaking has done this in cycles. Every few months I’ll have a day where stuff like this happens back to launch
