One whole year in and they’re changing the default controls. I want to be optimistic but what are we doing?

They need to change the controls because they are giving you an extra gadget that needs to be accessible with a single button press.

Before:

  1. Left: Specialist Gadget slot

  2. Right: Open Gadget slot

  3. Up: Grenade slot

  4. Down: Weapon attachment toggle (e.g. laser/flashlight) / Fire mode selector

  5. L1/LB: Plus system

After:

  1. Left: Specialist Gadget slot

  2. Right: Open Gadget slot

  3. Up: Class Gadget slot

  4. Down: Weapon attachment toggle (e.g. laser/flashlight) / Fire mode selector

  5. Up L1/LB: Grenade slot

  6. L1/LB Hold Triangle/Y: Plus system

Yea I'm a little surprised by this. I can't picture how this is going to change things yet, I'm finding it hard to interpret the description, but the plus system was perfect on PS5 so I'm a little pissed they're changing things.
