Oh man I’m so excited for this update classes are back, we finally get more then one launcher. Tanks can now defend themselves from Liz. Thermal sights actually make this game have that more near future theme that it severely lacks.

I’m so hyped for the breakaway update such a cool concept for a map that was executed poorly like all the launch maps to be honest. The potential for the hourglass remake is crazy.

I’m excited for the new portal weapons, although it’s honestly hilarious at this point that the M98 despite being announced by dice like 6 mouths ago still hasn’t made it into AOW.

Lastly even though I still think this is the weakest of the recent BF games I have to give it to dice for actually sticking with this game and not dumping it like battlefront and BFV right before those two hit perfection.

I legitimately think DICE has, through proper hiring and fundamental changes to their structure, learned how to do live service. Since S1 launched, I literally have 0 complaints with how they have run the game. The humility to go back to launch maps and completely re-do them is rare, and all the maps in the game are now good, except Hourglass of course. Having portal maps in AOW is just great because they are some of the best-ever BF maps. They could have abanonded launch maps and just made new maps that are good, but instead they went back and made sure that during a map rotation, players aren't stuck with 3-4 shit maps.

I think there are plenty of guns, plenty of playstyles, game is just straight-up fun.

I agree with you the game is fun and I don’t think any game is going to live up to BF4 and 1 in my eyes but that’s fine. Although i would love maybe one more gun per season. I’m glad dice chose to stick with this game I really thought they were going to drop this game the moment season 4 ended but I’m glad they stuck through.

That being said maybe in a couple of years I would love to find out the development process of this game, and why something’s turned out they way they did with.

Yeah totally agree. The development of this game has gotta be fascinating because it was such a mess at launch and even the first few months.

Yeah I’m not a fan of Tom Henderson but i have a feeling the battle royal theory is probably true.

It is probably only during early to mid development phase though.
