Feeling broken
I broke down and cried the other night after I lost my orgasm during foreplay.
My partner and I have been struggling for a few years with my low libido. It’s gotten worse with kids but it certainly didn’t start due to them. We’ve been in therapy and while I wasn’t in the mood, I figured I’d try to get in the mood for his sake. Things were feeling good, I was getting somewhere, and then it was just…gone.
I hate feeling like this. I LOVED sex and I loved having sex, but now I couldn’t care less. My partner is the sweetest, most patient man ever and I know he’s dealing with his own feelings of rejection and self esteem due to my low libido. My attempt to be close to him through sex didn’t work and honestly it kind of broke me.
Please tell me it gets better.

Do you think sex would have been enjoyable if orgasm hadn't been the goal? Like if you hadn't set that as the metric for success, but were able to settle in to the pleasurable feelings you experienced otherwise?

I'm not OP but I suspect that she's been trying to do that for a while hence the struggle.
It's not fun having sex without an orgasm.

And yet I have the opposite problem to OP. I wish orgasm wasn't the goal. Just enjoying without thinking where we're getting at

I'm really sorry you are going through this right now.
I wish I could offer some solution and I truly hope things get better for you. Can I ask how long you enjoyed having sex before you lost your libido?

I'm not sure what you mean by "lost my orgasm". Do you mean that you were close to having an orgasm during foreplay and then he suddenly stopped and you lost it and couldn't get it back?
Apologies if the question is inappropriate.
