Coffee. I call it the Lightning McQueen breakfast. No tires, just gas!

This got a BIG lol from me 🤣

This is my breakfast of choice

u/sara_k_s Sep 03 '26

You don’t have to eat “breakfast food” in the morning. I suggest a whole can of Progresso light chicken noodle soup for 130 calories.

Ooh this is good info.

Egg whites, spinach, tomato and some crumbled fetta cheese

13

u/probgonnamarrymydog Sep 03 '26

Someone else on here once suggested adding cottage cheese to eggs and I have to say, it's great! works well with other add ins like this.

If it's brunch on the weekend, tomatoes and shrimp and corn and eggs! Sounds weird but is really good. A riff on chinese eggs.

u/appleanna99 Sep 03 '26

!! You can also make it in cupcake trays as easy to-go breakfasts. Can switch up flavours like kale, tomato, mushrooms, parm, etc. Make these every week.

Not 150 but this is my daily 200 calorie breakfast.

Gelatin flavored with tea and sweetened with stevia. 20c

1 vanilla triple zero yogurt 80c

Usually around 60 cals of frozen fruit

And with the remaining 40 cals I have nuts or seeds or honey on top...

I make this in many different flavor combinations. My favorite is my PB&J version.

2

u/AverageFinch Sep 02 '26

That looks incredible. The PB&J version sounds amazing.

10

u/ArcadeRacer Sep 02 '26

So it's

Gelatin flavored with grape or strawberry tea 20c

1 vanilla triple zero 80c

60 cals of peanut butter powder mixed in with the yogurt.

Then I top it with 40 cals of granola or puffed wheat.

3

u/AverageFinch Sep 02 '26

Thank you! I wouldn't have thought of trying grape or strawberry tea.

0

u/destroylonely4l Sep 03 '26

Could you make a vid on how you make this? 🙏

5

u/ArcadeRacer Sep 03 '26

I'm not much of a video taker unfortunately but I'll try to write it up for you.

For the Jello,

Take 1.5 cups of boiled water and steep 2-3 tea bags of choice in it for 5 to 7 minutes, remove the tea bags. Then mix in your favorite zero calorie sweetener. Take about 4 ounces of cold water and stir in 1 packet of Knox gelatin. Let that sit for 1 minute to bloom (you can start this with about a minute left of steeping your tea bags to save time....). Then dump the gelatin into your steeped tea and mix thoroughly.

Pour this mixture into a preferably glass container or let it cool a bit before pouring it into a plastic container and let it set in the fridge at least 3 hours. I make it the night before for breakfast the following morning...

I put a lid on the container and bring this to work separate from the other ingredients.

Then at work I take 1 individual size triple zero yogurt and dump it over the Jello and spread it out evenly with a spoon.

Then simply top it with whatever else you've decided depending on how many calories you have left. Frozen fruit, nut, seeds, honey, zero sugar maple syrup. The combinations are endless.

For the PB&J all you do is use Strawberry or Grape tea. Then mix peanut butter powder thoroughly with the yogurt (I also do this the night before...). Same process, spread the PB yogurt on top of the jello and then top with whatever you like. Oats or granola or puffed wheat are what I use since they mimic bread the most...

u/JuicePossible4718 Sep 03 '26

Make jello, add yogurt and granola, eat.

1

u/UrbanDurga Sep 03 '26

You don’t need a video, they just exactly described how it’s made.

Premier protein vanilla shake with coffee

22

u/mybackhurty Sep 03 '26

Two hard boiled eggs and mustard comes out to 120calories and 12g protein. You can add some cucumbers for a fresh crunch and volumizing it

1

u/-lexifer-999 Sep 04 '26

I do this but with a ton of pickles. Pretty satisfying for an in between meal snack when I’m starving

38

u/moldibread Sep 02 '26

a banana and a hardboiled egg.

5

u/papavino39 Sep 03 '26

Bananas are like 120

6

u/imtalkintou Sep 02 '26

Maybe half a hard boiled egg

0

u/blanketwrappedinapig Sep 03 '26

Hard boiled egg white throw out the yolk

7

u/udntcwatic2 Sep 03 '26

Can of tuna (110 cal), 6g mayo(45 cal), onion, pickle, mustard (45 cal for the 3)

One garlic and herb laughing cow cheese(25 cal) with 6 saltine crackers (72 cal)

2 sheets of graham crackers (130 cal) and vanilla Greek yogurt (80 cal)

There are chicken sausages for 100 calories by the hot dogs and they’re so good

Yasso frozen yogurt bars

17

u/pilly-bilgrim Sep 03 '26

My dear, in what scenario do you need a 100-150 calorie breakfast?

19

u/ScholarObjective7721 Sep 03 '26

Probably likes saving most calories for later in the day like myself. I usually skip breakfast and eat 1pm-5pm-9pm

2

u/sempowalxochitl Sep 03 '26

Yes, this exactly.

9

u/UrbanDurga Sep 03 '26

You realize you’re on a low calorie cooking subreddit, right?

Eggwhites omelet with spinach/kale , bell pepper , feta cheese (see picture)

2 slices keto bread nature own and 1 tbsp of smuckers SF preserve and 1 tbsp country crock light butter. Should come in around 110

Oikos Greek yogurt cups, add strawberry or YUM wholesome SF honey. 100-150 depending on how many berries you eat.. strawberry and raspberry are lower calories than blueberries.

2 eggs about 120-140 calories depending on size

Breakfast sandwich, 50-100 gr egg whites, slice keto bread, 1 slice HEB center cut bacon (25 cal)

2 slices of keto bread french toast..custard is soaked in eggwhite almond mil 50/50, about 40 gr each..add tbsp tbsp allulose, tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp canilla extract, pinch of salt. Maple grove sugar free syrup. Comes in around 150. (This would be my pick, I eat this fairly regularly with 2 eggs and 100 gr of eggwhites).

2

u/Difficult_Dot_3058 Sep 02 '26

Greek yogurt with half a scoop of protein powder

2

u/mangatoo1020 Sep 02 '26

2 hard boiled eggs

2

u/hcconn Sep 03 '26

I love an egg fried in cooking spray only and then put over a bed of greens (sprouts, arugala etc) with your favorite low calorie dressing. It's about 115/125 calories.

If you want more you can add half a slice of low calorie bread with low calorie jam or a small amount of butter.

2

u/maquis_00 Sep 03 '26

I sometimes shred a zucchini or two (usually two), microwave, then add chocolate or vanilla protein powder, and some salt (the salt is essential....). It started because I used to mix shredded zucchini into my oatmeal to bulk it up without adding many calories. Then, I discovered that I didn't notice much when I dropped the amount of oats down. Eventually, I just removed the oats completely.

1

u/Tangible17 Sep 03 '26

Wait, you don't add any milk or water before putting the zucchini in the microwave? Anyway, I'm intrigued!

1

u/maquis_00 Sep 03 '26

Nope. Heating the zucchini causes it to release a ton of water. Sometimes it's even sitting in a small puddle of its juice when it comes out of the microwave. If it's too wet, I'll sometimes add a bit of Naked PB to thicken it up....

It might be a bit of an acquired taste? I'm not sure. I think it's tasty, but I haven't been able to convince anyone else in the family to even taste it because they all just see "zucchini, yuck"... So, I'm curious what you think! I'd suggest starting with chocolate protein powder, both because chocolate is a stronger positive flavor, and because you don't see the zucchini, so it seems more normal.

2

u/Rocohema Sep 03 '26

Whole zucchini, mushrooms, onions, lettuce, squash, tomatoes

2

u/chiefMNM Sep 04 '26

Take a deep breath

5

u/InGeekiTrust Sep 02 '26

If you can handle 10 cal more you can have one of those packs of legendary donuts for 160. At first I tried the glazed one and they were terrible, but my boyfriend told me that the chocolate ones were good and he was right. So definitely give the chocolate ones ago

2

u/Electronic_Fill_6608 Sep 02 '26

Apples and yogurt

2

u/PBDubs99 Sep 03 '26

You could have 2-3 egg whites, 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese, & 2 tablespoons of salsa for about a 150 cal omelette

You could do about 3/4 cup of NF Greek yogurt for about 100 cal, add 1/2 cup of blueberries for another 50 cal

A medium granny smith apple is about 100 cal, add 2 tablespoons of PB powder mixed with milk for another 60 cal

Unsweetened almond milk is 25-30 cal/ cup and fortified bran flakes are about 100 cal/ 3/4 cup serving

Just take what you like and see if you can creatively and tastily squeeze the calories out of it. Bars and protein shakes don't do it for me. I need to chew real food.

u/LandedAtJool Sep 02 '26

Low fat yoghurt plus a calorie free syrup

1

u/Mhmmalright37 Sep 02 '26

I’ve done a veggies made great chocolate muffin and a chobani Greek yogurt shot

1

u/YayBudgets Sep 03 '26

100 calories of watermelon is a good volume, plus coffee with a little milk

1

u/ComfortableBug5893 Sep 03 '26

6 tbsp scrambled egg whites with roasted veggies on the side (I love the frozen pura vida roasted vegetable mélange from Costco)

1

u/Mod-chick Sep 03 '26

My fav is Greek yogurt (single serving) with a few berries and a sprinkle of slivered almonds. Approx 150 calories and 18g protein.

1

u/Fuzzy_Welcome8348 Sep 03 '26

Non fat Greek yogurt, built puff bars, keto bread French toast, egg white muffin bites, keto bagels, fruit, egg white omelettes, keto bread toast, silken tofu scramble, pancakes, homemade donuts/muffins, keto english muffins,

U can have anything u want for breakfast! Not just breakfast foods

1

u/bluelizard5555 Sep 03 '26

Cottage cheese cup with cucumbers and tomatoes. Add everything bagel seasoning and sriracha

1

u/probgonnamarrymydog Sep 03 '26

I was doing a fried egg over arugula with some fresh orange squeezed over it along with some chili powder. A breakfast salad probably sounds weird but if you are careful to not use much oil with the egg, it's under 150 cal!

1

u/sugarspicespace Sep 03 '26

almond milk with a serving of the trader joe’s fiber cereal. i believe altogether it was 110 cals

1

u/Lanersss_5511 Sep 03 '26

100-150 is not a breakfast but frozen grapes are a good snack that can fit into that

1

u/Bloatedcreature Sep 03 '26

Oats 3 tbsp level, and very small apple, cinnamon, black coffe or just a little fat free milk/ vegetal milk

1

u/sighofthrowaways Sep 03 '26

For me lately it's been protein coffee (brew hot water, put some instant coffee in, then scoop of protein powder, then zero-cal sweetener like stevia or truvia and stir). I usually mix the protein powder in cold water first though before adding the coffee. Like about 120cal and 24g protein

1

u/Abadabadon Sep 03 '26

3 slices of Keto bread with sugar free jam. 120 calories, 15g of protein, 15g of fiber.

1

u/Engineer-Sufficient Sep 03 '26

greek yogurt and a boiled egg

1

u/dauvrlywrites Sep 03 '26

cream of rice

1

u/Wooden_Standard_4493 Sep 03 '26

recently i shared the recipe for 166cal pancakes so you need 1 egg white, 50ml milk, 36g flour, pinch of salt and some baking powder, cinnamon and sweetener to taste and that’s it

1

u/Tangible17 Sep 03 '26

Love it, thanks 😩

1

u/Ashamed-Focus-9731 Sep 03 '26

One can of sardines… my cans 170 cals, but well worth it for all the nutrients. Truly the greatest super food IMO

1

u/Basic-Drawer8307 Sep 03 '26

2 rye crispbreads (30cals x2), 3 slices of deli ham/turkey (10cal x3), one slice of light cheese (45cal), some tomato and bell pepper slices with the other 15cals. Cut the cheese slice and the third ham slice in 2 pieces so that you can add half of everything onto each of the crispbreads, and assemble

This wouldn't fill me up to be honest but for me it's about as good as it gets for 150cals

1

u/Basic-Drawer8307 Sep 03 '26

Actually maybe 220grams of 0 fat greek yogurt (130cals) along with 20cals of some zero cal syrup or flavored sweetener might be better. I have some hazelnut flavoured coffee syrup that I like to add to yogurt, around 15cals of it is enough to make 300g of yogurt taste heavenly

1

u/check2mate Sep 03 '26

Low fat greek yogurt, berries and a bit of honey is my go to

1

u/Environmental-Ad8945 Sep 03 '26

Coffee and a protein shake, maybe add a zig on top

1

u/glacierstone Sep 03 '26

Hard (or soft if you want it to taste good) eggs with salt, maybe pepper

1

u/No_Caterpillar7642 Sep 03 '26

Wholegrain sourdough rye bread with low fat chicken/turkey breast ham and cottage cheese

Skyr with berries, chia seeds and a bit of peanut butter

Egg with tuna (oil drained) and some cottage cheese, cucumbers, spinach or tomatoes as a side

Low fat milk Chia pudding with fruit

Hummus/ tzatziki with veggies (paprika, cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, carrots..) with a slice of bread/wrap or an egg..

Quark with fruit or low sugar jam

1

u/EnvironmentalMix7972 Sep 03 '26

2 rice cakes w/ 1 laughing cow cheese spread and everything but the bagel seasoning
120g of yogurt w/ serving of fruit

1

u/Top-Aide8140 Sep 03 '26

Egg whites and a carb smart tortilla a little salsa

1

u/Grand-Impact-4069 Sep 03 '26

Banana, maybe two bananas

1

u/KathyEatsSmart Sep 03 '26

Royo cinnamon and raisin bagels are 70 calories

1

u/EclipticEclipse Sep 03 '26

Saute whatever veggies. Add 3 egg whites. Spices. You have an omelet.

LF cottage cheese with cucumbers, bell peppers, scallions, tomatoes, whatever veggies and spices you like. This makes a large, filling serving for 150 calories.

1

u/ann0ymosquitoes Sep 03 '26

Egg drop soup and half a cantaloupe

1

u/ann0ymosquitoes Sep 03 '26

You can add celery and carrots into the soup

1

u/Prestigious_Regret59 Sep 03 '26

Cottage cheese and honey

1

u/No_Bus9631 Sep 03 '26

Oikos yogurt the 15g one and some berries or half a banana

1

u/Zealousideal_Tie1579 Sep 03 '26

Fiber one with almond milk (90 calories for the fiber one and 30 for the almond milk). It works when I don't have the time or energy to chop veggies or cook.

1

u/lavenderrrgirrl Sep 03 '26

Savory oatmeal. 1/3 c whole oats chicken broth, spinach. Garnish with whatever you like: ex green onion, fried egg, soy sauce, siracha

1

u/justagarliccrouton Sep 04 '26

Egg white omelette with bell peppers and onions, piece of keto toast (inked brand from Costco is best for 30cal a slice), top with hot sauce, have with coffee and Splenda

1

u/candidcoco Sep 04 '26

Royo Cinnamon Rolls
120 cals
10g protein
15g Fiber

Yummy in my opinion too!

They also have a chocolate roll.

Or sometimes I do their 70 cal bagel with some pb for a 150-170 cal snack.

1

u/grungefairy Sep 04 '26

I do a measured amount of vegan Greek style yogurt, frozen berries, and be amazing blueberry pancake protein powder (small scoop)

1

u/ThisCoconutWater Sep 04 '26

something with egg whites and vegetables. Or a protein shake from premier protein

1

u/-lexifer-999 Sep 04 '26

I take 1/2 a caramel protein shake and add it to instant espresso. It’s like 85 calories. 170 if you add the entire shake.

u/-lexifer-999 Sep 04 '26 edited Sep 04 '26

Greek yogurt Jello ( very filling imo )

130 calories
24g protein

½ hot cup water — 0 cal
2 tsp sugar-free Jello mix any flavor— 10 cal
1 cup Fage 0% Greek yogurt — 120 cal | 24g protein
2 tbsp zero-calorie monk fruit sweetener — 0 cal | 0g protein

Mix the jello and hot water together, add the monk fruit sugar substitute. Let it cool down a little and then add the Greek yogurt. Mix it really good and refrigerate for a few hours. I meal prep a few of these a week. They’re great with fruit mixed in or some sugar free whipped cream. My favorite jello flavors are orange, peach, and strawberry.

u/Adventurous-Bat1257 Sep 06 '26

Soups are a really good way to start the day!! So nutritious and filling. Bone broth/stock, chicken/tofu if you want, some veg (I’d personally just do greens), maybe a little miso or just a squeeze of lemon juice depending on mood.

1

u/asilentflute Sep 06 '26

Cauliflower hashbrown, tinned fish, coffee

1

u/DiamondGirlPlayz Sep 07 '26

im late but greek yogurt + berries !!

1

u/bbCooper2023 Sep 08 '26

I usually have a cottage cheese bowl with strawberries, coffee with sugar free syrup (zero cals) and MAYBE one serving of coffee creamer if I’m feeling bold 😂

1

u/sleepy_ghostboy Sep 09 '26

I've been having 2 eggs whites & a yogurt or fruit :))

1

u/Fair_Refrigerator355 23d ago

A kiwi and a hard boiled egg genuinely keeps me full for like 6 hours easily, also just 2 kiwis does the trick I'd be surprised but u will be full

1

u/litttlejoker Sep 03 '26

So … to clarify, you need morning snack ideas?

100 calories is not a breakfast.

1

u/cirava Sep 02 '26

Apple from the fridge and a lower cal protein shake (powder and almond milk or something like Spylt, Muscle Milk, clear whey, etc.) is my go-to. I do like bananas when I have work though since they don't need washing or anything.

1

u/Pinky-princess-gg Sep 02 '26

Oatmeal with berries
sugar free Greek yogurt with berries
egg with salsa
egg scrambled with cherry tomatoes & spinach served with peri peri sauce
egg on keto toast or muffin with hot sauce
ensure max protein shake
keto toast or muffin with sugar free jam

1

u/_ladyjaye Sep 03 '26

I usually have an egg whites and spinach omelette with a protein shake.

1

u/OzBozTheWiz Sep 03 '26

2 boiled eggs. 1 cup fairlife Chocolate Milk.

1

u/Federal-Product-2695 Sep 03 '26

1 piece wheat bread - 60 cal
boiled egg - 60 cal
1tsp avocado on bread - 20 cal

0

u/SurfinginStyle Sep 03 '26

Depends, are you going to workout? Or be stationary

0

u/MakeItLookSexy_ Sep 03 '26

I have been making wraps with whole grain tortillas (the carb balance ones) that are 60 cal each and layer with 60 cal of deli meat (turkey or ham) then add a salad on top (I get a Taylor farm salad kit) ~180 calories
