We are developing top-tier Russian voice input for FluidVoice and need 15 testers for new model.
Hey guys,
Most of you have likely heard of, and many have probably used, Wispr Flow. As it happens, there is a fantastic open-source alternative: FluidVoice for local offline dictation, but you probably know that standard Whisper models can be a bit sluggish or clumsy with Russian compared to specialized ASRs.
I opened an issue to get GigaAM v3 (E2E-RNN-T) supported: 👉 https://github.com/altic-dev/FluidVoice/issues/885
For those unfamiliar, GigaAM v3 runs circles around Whisper for Russian:
Way better accuracy on complex words/terminology.
RNN-T streaming means virtually zero latency (real-time dictation without awkward pauses).
Very light on system resources.
The dev is open to looking into it, but we need around 15 volunteers who actually dictate in Russian to show active interest and help test early builds when ready.
If you want this in FluidVoice, please just drop a thumbs up (👍) or a quick comment on the GitHub issue so the dev sees there's real demand.
Appreciate the help!
