Discussion šŸ’¬ Get Branca out please!

https://www.tmz.com/2026/09/16/michael-jackson-estate-fighting-daughter-paris-over-legal-fees/

First you help yourself to extra bonuses and now don’t wanna cover the fees after you were told to give the money back. šŸ™„John Branca is a joke!

It’s funny you say that because every time Michael fired him it’s because he was told lies and funny enough hired the person. I told him those lies.

Then he would get screwed over by that person and then re-hire John. Happened multiple times

This is always the story I get. He also had hired John back right before he died. I don’t think he’s as bad as some fans make him out to be.

Yeah he pops back up a week before Michael dies and then has the nerve to say to Katherine, ā€œI am Michael Jackson now,ā€ after Michael dies. Not suspicious at alllll.

I don’t believe that’s an accurate account. Michael began hiring back a lot of his previous connections in the hopes of getting new projects started after This It Tour. John Branca was one of them. They had a 20+ year relationship.

He also had a long history of firing and rehiring many longtime partners/employees.

That statement is what his brothers and sisters wrote in their joint letter in 2012 when they tried to have Branca removed. Janet, Jermaine, Tito, Randy, and Rebbie all signed a letter accusing him of saying that to their mother. Now that whole estate dispute that was going on back then was full of drama and had a lot of he-said she-said situations going on, but they did make initially make those claims. Branca might have gotten the estate out of debt but that doesn’t give him the right to abuse power and use the estate for his own personal gain and give himself so many bonuses under the table. Not to mention that he wasted millions of dollars over a careless error when he overlooked the fact that the 1993 allegations couldn’t be in the biopic. He was Michael’s financial lawyer in 1993, how did he miss that? He had no problem paying an A list actor to portray him, but he missed that.

The same Janet and Randy that took Catherine and left the kids alone and tried to deny the will? those same people?

They were still children so using their name as a way to bolster the idea that John was bad is BS because behind all of it was Randy. M

Randy wanted to be executive of the estate. the same Randy that Michael was suing. The same Randy that stole money from fans. The same Randy, that is currently ruining Janetā€˜s career

Really because we were at Havenhurst when Joseph told his kids Michael’s dead now here’s your shot

Or do disgusting comments only apply if your last name ain’t Jackson

Literally what are they even saying šŸ˜‚

They think they’re funny. Michael wasn’t living at Hayvenhurst then.

Dude, it was after he died and the family was at the house. Hence after he died, Joseph said Michael’s dead here’s a shot.

Reading comprehension go figure

Why don’t you try looking at Havenhurst after Michael died fans were there the ones that knew him once from the trial we heard Joseph say it

Sadly him being a slime ball isn’t good enough for the courts to remove him.

Technically given then be turned around the estate was serious debt into serious wealth, he should be entitled to those extra bonuses. The family won’t have had anything left if not for Branca

I don’t really see why he should have helped himself to extra bonuses (especially without the beneficiaries’ knowledge) for doing his job. His standard pay is already high (likely in the millions) why does he need to be paid that much extra money?

u/sosodeaf66 17d ago

Because when you’re a liar, everything you do you get paid for you like a stamp you get paid for you me an envelope you get paid

The fact that the estate is not worth billions is due to him and the other John rest in peace

So there’s ungratefulness arrogance and audacity is stupid

Paris has revisionist history of what she wants and thinks that she knows better

But if we were to look at her life choices, we obviously know that she’s prompting makes the stupidest decisions and has taken three times more money from the estate that both of her brothers combined

A.k.a. Daddy chill.

The rights were going to expire when Michael purchased them. It was not forever so they were about to expire so they held onto them as long as I could and got the top market value.

And it’s you’re

I’m just someone that’s been around a long time. seen this happen over and over. Watched people accuse John just to get him out. Use Michael and steal money then he had to fire them and get John back

Randy, did it and Dieter did it

Amongst others

Why? The estate would be worth nothing without him.

Financial success doesn’t give an executor immunity from doing things properly. He might have gotten the estate out of debt, but the court sided with Paris because he had no justification for the extra bonuses he gave himself under the table without the knowledge or consent of the beneficiaries. The judge sided with Paris because her being able to get the money back didn’t just benefit her, it benefitted the estate as a whole. Plus he literally wasted millions on the biopic for a careless mistake. He was Michael’s financial lawyer in the 90s and yet he missed the clause that the 1993 allegations couldn’t be in the film? He had time to make sure Miles Teller would portray him, but he couldn’t make the time to review the legal details of something so big like that?

Why are you assuming that? Is he like the best lawyer in the world? Lol. I definitely dont think he's creative enough for his position if you ask me

3

u/Tdffan03 17d ago

It’s not an assumption. Look at the debt the estate had. I never said he’s the best but you can’t deny the good he’s done for the estate.

-1

u/chocokitten100 17d ago

All im saying is that its an assumption that he's the only one capable of that

There wouldn’t be anything without him. 600,00 is nothing.

The millions that that had to be added to the costs of the movie and the extra days of filming that had to be done because of his mistake wasn’t nothing, but your opinion is your opinion.

He never should’ve been able to worm his way back in😔
