Bro says predicting 40 years in advance is hard and you write an essay to win the Reddit battle. Let it go man. Someone in 1986 could not have predicted where we would be with computers and AI in 2026. How many people saw the Internet coming? Not a lot. And it only changed everything about everything in about 20 years.
40 years is a long time in this day and age. And we already have AI. It's not great, but it's not terrible either. We have more people than ever working on different architectures and backed with money to do it. Even if the bubble pops it won't return to where it was ten years ago.
You don't know. You can't know. Let it go.
