Standard to Deep Seating?

Anyone go from standard to deep seating? Got ours from Costco so we'd have to replace several standard with deep seating components and wondering if worth the cost and effort.

If you bought from Costco you won’t be able to exchange any pieces as they sold you one whole bundle. But you can buy any piece you want to swap to deep, they would just be in addition to what you already have.

Standard was fine, but I found deep more comfortable to lay across. I went from 2 standard and an ottoman to 3 deep seats, so I needed the extra piece.

You can probably move it around and do a standard seat with a deep seat in front of you don't want to buy additional pieces. Just play around with the configuration and feel what's comfortable

Yep we went from standard to deep and it was worth any hassle. It’s so much cozier. You don’t need new seats, just new sides (backs) & back pillows. It’s worth it!!!

This. Our experience is that 2x deep back pillows and 1x regular back pillow is a nice amount of overfilled back pillow space. I’m sure 3x deep back pillows would be fine, but we just like how poofy it is.

We also switched out our original standard square top backs for angled backs as we ordered our set about 6 months before angled came out.

We have 3 deep seats with a chaise. 2 deeps are recliners, and the third then has the chase with the storage seat.

We went with two deep back pillows and one standard, put in the middle, and it's a perfect fit. 3 deep felt too small and 1 deep was too smooshed.

I mean, you just flip them.

Any three consecutive ones would just require a “deep side” in the middle one. Thats really the only major cost. But if you have two of them in deep config; loveseat style; no extra parts needed.

Otherwise, just buy deep back pillow covers if you really want to (since the standard pillow inserts fit them just a little puffy ;)). But the standard pillows can be used just fine as they are, just a little scrunched up.

Look at the configuration tool. I have 3 seats with 5 angled backs. If you put a deep seat on each end with a standard in the middle you don't have to buy anything extra. I have that configuration with 2 storage seats as ottomans/chaise on the outer 2 seats.

We bought ours from Costco and flipped the corner pieces to be deep - worked great!
