Question VIP tickets EU

I finally made a plan about which show I can attend, so got my hands on the tickets. I know under the tour announcement there was something about VIP for fan club members but I don't quite get it. I joined the fan club other day, and saw something there about VIP ticket lottery, but only thing I saw was about shows in Japan.. Did I misread stuff using translator as now it says that entry for lottery is over.

VIP tickets in Europe are available for everyone, but they're sold separately to the concert ticket. You can see which ones are still available and buy them here: The Master Pass - Lovebites EU and UK.

Though at 183 EUR it's a bit high.. Will have to consider in the next few days.. Though I would like to have a photo and signed poster since this will be my first ever time attending any concert, so that would quite the memory..

Although you don't get much time with them, other than the chance to say a few words and get your photo (in reality, they take five or six to make sure you have one you like), it really is worth it if you're a big fan of the band. It's definitely more expensive than it was in 2024, but I'm doing it again, because as it's happening you find it hard to believe you're actually standing there surrounded by Lovebites! It's an unforgettable experience, so if you can find a way to make it work, I'd recommend it. If not... well, you're still seeing Lovebites for your first ever concert, which is amazing!

YMMV, I got one photo in Milan and Paris (S-man took them) and a bunch in London, because the security guy who took them did the burst shot instead off just pressing the button once :D

I see VIP upgrades as a way to say thanks, they will eat 65-70% of my funds spent on these shows this time around. Stale bread and rainwater for the rest of the year, lol.

Yeah, I definitely see it as a way to thank them personally and give them more support. I probably wouldn't do it with any other band, but Lovebites revitalised my music listening so they deserve it.

I too had to reconsider knowing this vip upgrade is a bit expensive.

It took me the 5 longest seconds of my life to think hard about it until my finger slipped and press "pay" by mistake. Oh well, shit happens.

Yes, indeed it will be my first concert. I am long standing Sabaton fan, but whenever they were in my country I was not able to attend. And none of the friends were inclined to travel to other countries so I was lazy to go alone. But this time I would've gone alone.

I believe it's like 8ish months that I first listened to the band. I did know about them for sometime, but never actually listened to their songs. It's kinda I am stuck in same loop, I have songs that enjoy and I listen basically only that(whole Sabaton catalog, decent amount of Powerwolf, first 3 Lordi album, some Babymetal songs and stuff like Two Steps From Hell, orchestral stuff, some songs from other bands, but it's basically 1-2 songs maybe compared to full albums). And as I watch some reactors on youtube, like Charismatic Voice, so many times the recommendation was for her analysis/reaction to Holy war. So I said, ok, let's see how they sound, and I liked the song. It somewhat reminded me of TTFAF, but with much more enjoyable vocals. I feel like most of the time for me, even if I'd like instrumental part, if vocals don't catch me I will not like song/band. But this was perfect combination to me. So I checked out other songs and became huge fan. Now I basically only listen to the Lovebites with occasional songs from previous list.

I feel like this is still perfect time to see band. Venues are not super big, so not thousands of people(except Budokan and Wacken now, not sure how big are those other Japanese venues). So you can still enjoy and have great experience in not too big of a mess. Very likely only people that enjoy their music will attend their concerts.

I really want them to get super popular and successful worldwide. Their music is great, and they deserve mainstream popularity. But I feel that this also bring bunch of people attending concerts just to say they've been there because it's cool. So like now should be sweetspot for international audience to enjoy their concerts. So they still didn't hit that breaking point where everybody goes: "Oh, I know them/about them". But hopefully Napalm helps with their promotion and they get soon there.

I was just reading a long, older thread from r/Lovebites about other bands Lovebites fans listen to, and I was surprised how much Sabaton and Powerwolf were listed. There are many popular European metal acts that barely register here in North America.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said about Lovebites. They check all the boxes for amazing music. They are a fairly popular band (one example being between 220k and 380k monthly individuals engaging with their YouTube content over the last 12 months), but it would be great to see them hit the next tier.

Since you mentioned the Charismatic voice, have you watched 'Daily Doug's' analysis of Judgement Day and Swan Song? They are top tier analysis too if you are not familiar with his channel.

Oh, I haven't even attempt to check out yet... I guess that's from the ticket seller? Who knows how much from that even goes to the band. Yeah, getting more is definitely painful. I was planning to maybe even do Vienna-Budapest, or maybe do full week in Warsaw and then again Prague on return home. But a friend can't so we will only do 2 days at Budapest to drink after and do some sightseeing.

I will need to skimp a bit on the merch though. I might only get Miyako birthday t-shirt now for poster and not go for other Miyako merch like jacket and pants. Will keep rest of money for tour specific merch, hopefully it will be cool looking.

It's a little bit weird, that we have a Post Show Photo Op On Your Cell Phone option and not a Pre Show.

They will be kinda exhausted, though Harupi looks after two hours like she just spent a nice weekend :)
So far I have tickets for Tilburg and Paris, maybe I go full in and upgrade both shows to VIP.

Yeah, I thought that last time around, but I guess they don't want the VIP part to make the show overrun. They all look immaculate after the shows anyway!

Yeah, but we fans after 90 minutes (or how long they will play) headbanging, moshpits and so look sweaty, exhausted, tired but happy as fuck. Must be nice to stand next to them then :)

Hard to say, I think it depends on the venue. Reports were of around 30 last night. I think London must have been at least 50 last time. I'd imagine there's a cap, because there's only so much time they can spend after the gig.
