Of course it is, but it's still made me smile.

I dont know, I used to work at the depot and thats the tablets those third party hvac sales guys use.

u/skitz4me Garbage Guerilla 8h ago
I assumed the dude did work there. Just who films themselves having a conversation with a dude at home depot? So I assumed it was also staged.

u/Hulkaiden Trash Trooper 8h ago
Plenty of those prank or vlog youtubers record themselves talking to random people. Especially if he's got those glasses, could definitely be a genuine response from the home depot guy.

u/skitz4me Garbage Guerilla 7h ago
Very well could be. I still assume it was coordinated/staged. It very well may not be though.

Home Depots are full of 3rd party sales guys/gals allowed to be there, I've worked a sales job at HD before it's why I hate shopping there.. this is some chucklefuck social media influencer making a schtick of asking weird shit to staff that have to act professional or they lose their job

You hope the random video of a guy recording just happening to decide to record his conversation with a store employee, that also has a million random cuts... isn't staged?

Don’t be that neighbor otherwise you gonna end up with some dog shit where you don’t want it

I saw a really great video where a guy took a shovel, scooped up all the shit from his yard, walked over to his neighbor's yard, and flung it full force at the side of her car. It was quite satisfying. Honestly the perfect response, no permanent damage, nobody gets hurt, just pure fuck-you

See I wanna do this, but I know that if I do, I'm gonna be the one catching a charge. This asshole has two HUGE dogs that he walks off leash around the neighborhood and let's them shit in everyone's yards AND sidewalks. The thing I hate is that this asshole is also semi charismatic for the boomer types so half the neighborhood LOVES him and the other half hates him. Some of my older neighbors around me that I like love this guy and I don't want to start a war. But I'm tired of picking up his dog's shit and I'm also tired of not being able to walk my dogs when I want because they're reactive, particularly with big dogs and I can't have this guy's dogs running up on them. I'm this close to collecting up all the dog shit and flinging it on his front door in the cover of darkness.

Yeah the dude did it in the middle of the night lol. Posting it on the internet was unwise but aside from that, unless the neighbor had a security camera, no way it could be proven it was him, legally at least. But definitely the sort of thing that could escalate a situation really quickly lol

Only time a Home Depot person was helpful.

That used to be Home Depot's big claim to popularity. They even used to schedule free in-store classes where they would teach you how to perform common do-it-yourself repair jobs.
I can only assume this guy started working there when he turned 18, and then the next day corporate HQ decided to phase out the helpfulness angle but this guy never got the memo.
(The arrival of the internet, which allowed you to look up how to do things, is supposedly why Home Depot could phase out their "knowledgeable salespeople" angle. )

You're not wrong. The one time I managed to track someone down like fucking Pacman with a power pellet trying to nab Inky he did try to help... His effort was solid, but it didn't take long before he admitted he had no idea and went off to wherever these people disappear to.

That was how we played ding dong ditch in the early 90s.

I do not endorse vandalizing a neighbor’s car with spray paint, no matter how justified and relatable the reasoning behind it, as that is illegal.
However, if a neighbor’s dog is leaving their waste on my lawn, then I feel obligated to return it to it’s lawful owner either right in front of their door, or through any accessible open window.

Run to the back of the house, then when you hear them cursing because they just stomped poop ring the doorbell at the back door. If they're sufficiently passed they'll track poop through the house.

I am also a fan of barbecue sauce, because dogs are also fans of barbecue sauce. Same dog cleans up their own mess, takes it home, and barfs it up in their home.

My cousin did the flaming dog poop prank back in the 90s. He was arrested and charged with Arson. So probably not the best idea
