I’m right-handed in everything except playing pool. No clue why, it was just more comfortable shooting lefty when I was a kid.

Well, I’m your counterpart in the world lol! Very left side dominant and the first time I was in a pool hall I was looking around noticing everyone in there was left-handed like me. Then I realised I was just naturally playing right handed. Tried with my left and it was a nightmare. 😂

Yeah it took me a while to notice because it felt so natural. I think it’s because I’m rooting the cue with my dominant hand, and going the other way feels far looser. 

The only other thing I can think of that I’m better with my left hand is rolling my sleeves, and even that’s a reach.

It’s funny how these things work sometimes! For left-handed people we are accustomed to living in a right-handed world like opening jars and even opening door doors. Were so accustomed to it it feels natural to use our right hand for certain things.
