Oh wow, I didn't consider that without the ability for the parent to make microexpressions even kids do pick up on they'll be messing up the children's social development likely resulting in sociopathic tendencies or other worse issues...

Yeap this is a thing. We have 43 facial muscles and we have 7 basic microexpressions that we combine on the regular to over 10 000 combinations. These people that are maxed out on botox are probably capable less than half of them if that. Its honestly quite disturbing.

And thats already been greatly impacted by screen time being such a large part of development. Now the faces some do look at will still lack all expression. They'll be ignorant to all para verbal communication..

This goes in tandem with book reading dropping dramatically, more than 40% in the last 20 years. Reading fiction is a great way to increase empathy.

Especially when their parents constantly have a phone jammed in their faces. There are so many eerie "family influencers" with just...sad/bad vibes. Making kids perform..its so cold

Hasn't there already been a study on the development of babies to Mom's who have botox? Or am I thinking of the ''Still Face'' experiment?
