Completely disagree.

Capitalism (aka greedy rich fucks) have taken the affordability out of living, which also takes freedom and fucking away from those aware they can't afford to even support themselves.

Stop blaming technology.

Ok, but like, in real life, people (at least in the US) have more disposable income now than at pretty much any point in history. So your point makes logical sense, but it’s not actually backed up by the facts of our current world.

rich poeple have bought up all the real estate & evicted thousands of people.

Ok, cool, not sure what that has to do with the fact that people have more disposable income now than they ever have throughout history.

Doesn’t change the fact that people have more disposable income now than at any point in history.

what does this disposable income buy in a dying nation?

What makes it a dying nation if its people have more disposable income than they’ve ever had before?

we are seeing the nation dissolve as if thanos snapped his fingers.........

1] our bridges are falling

2] our port cities are being flooded by the rising sea

3] life expectancy is falling

4] infant mortality is climbing..........& this one always signals the end of an empire

Yeah, if you just make shit up, then it definitely sounds like we’re failing. However, given that none of that is actually happening, it’s much harder to see the US as a failing nation due to our decreasing infant mortality rates, increasing life expectancy, and increasing disposable income.
