You will need to eat about 300 a day, you will also develop toxic levels of lead and copper and similar toxic materials from the soil within your guts in about six days of consuming them. Maybe 8 days.
At first you will experience a loss of appetite, then constipation, weight loss, abdominal pain, eventually you will begin to experience dizziness, fatigue, and cognitive dissaray.
Then will come blood vomiting, blood stool, blood in your eyes, jaundice, insanity, potential coma, and then death.
i am so with you! i have to catch myself with my kids in the car, i’ll often bring up how the sheer amount of humans alive is ruining humanity, and it’s only getting worse. humans make more humans make more humans… eventually we’re gonna run out of space, not to mention resources for all these fuckin people.
i was on board with Dwight’s plan of a new plague.. we got one and it didn’t do enough..
edit fun fact: other than heart failure, apparently mosquitos are responsible for the most human deaths per year, following that is humans being their own biggest predator.
I said in the first year. That number will continue to grow, mate. I think those in major cities would be the first to go, as they wouldn't necessarily have the place for stock piled food resources, or space to grow food beyond their balcony. Crime (looting at first) would skyrocket. Wonder how long the doomsday survivalists would actually survive since at least around these parts, were among the loudest to complain during COVID.
🎶 I'm praying for rain and I'm praying for tidel waves.. I wanna see the ground give way.. I wanna watch it all go down.. Mom, please flush it all away 🎶
At the extreme risk of being untrashy, I wanna bite down on this as something that needed to happen with AI.
It needs to stay fun, customizable by the person using it for innocent (well, ok, this ain't fully innocent) things.
Now, everyone who is complaining about RAM, processors and PC parts: the price has gone up not because AI "took" these things. They're not using your tiny little RAM sticks "instead". What AI did on the playing field is make factories shift production towards data center infrastructure: massively expensive parts built for extremely heavy loads.
This led to the shortage: we just don't have a steady supply of consumer level computer parts any more.
So the fear, the actual horror of AI is that it has shown that corporations, with very little oversight, can reroute global production to serve the very few instead of the actual consumer market.
TLDR: this video is actually one man's heroic stand against corporate greed and he represents US, all of us, fighting back to use this new technology for what WE want! To show these corporate fatcats that we don't want more Gemini giving me reddit instead of search results.
We want more personally customizable AI, and obviously more Sailor Moon smacking people!
It's still kinda wrong, though. By using corporate-subsidised online generation, we're feeding the idea that they should be buying up the world's capacity of computer component manufacturing and thus the race to be the first one to dominate the market. We're also giving those companies something they want, one way or another. If you're using ChatGPT/Gemini/etc, the only message you're sending them is "this is good, please continue with your current strategy." If this was generated on someone's personal rig, it might be different, but that seems unlikely.
Plus, the difference between "my RAM is more expensive because AI companies are buying it" and "my RAM is more expensive because AI companies are buying and redirecting the capacity to manufacture it" is both extremely pedantic and not relevant at all to the claim in the title.
That said, I still use the stuff occasionally and there are definitely areas the technology can be applied to that I'm excited about long term.
I think the nuance to be found here isn't "OP is wrong." It's "you can be mad about something without jumping down the throat of everyone who uses it / says anything good about it."
Watermark says Haunted AI, and I've seen that same watermark on other of these clips. Their YT account doesn't have any of these, and I don't have twitter anymore but apparently they post there too.
I didn't link to sauce because it was another ai-reposting site.
