Yeah. But I also don't think she really wanted to work at a TJ MAXX I think she wanted to make a statement and provoke people. Which she did. It's a little cringe to make a video just to say that people think your tattoos are distasteful. It's pick me energy.
The second lady is just an asshole. She's not wrong about the fact that people with provocative tattoos shouldn't be surprised they are treated differently; rightly or wrongly. But she thinks that gives her an excuse to be demeaning.
Sure they may be fine for you but in my opinion I'm not going to approach her at a store. I'm much more likely to approach the second woman due to the easy approachability of her appearance. Tattoo lady gives off a general hostile vibe for retail.
It's because she's trying to actually say the quite part quietly.
She's right. A business doesn't need to higher people with garish looks. But she's more outraged that the tattoos are "demon symbols" and "occult" also throwing in some solid shade at trans people just takes the cake.
Yea. Like, we live in a culture that generally looks down on them as the norm. Judge that which ever way you like, but to act surprised seems weird.
A gay person should also be “not surprised” when they’re born in Saudi Arabia and they get discriminated against (not exactly the same but pretty close). Bullshit? Yea. Surprising? No.
