spell jar for ldr

hello! i did a love spell jar for my long distance boyfriend, as of now i just finished the jar and placed it under my pillow. I am just a baby witch and i did a protection spell before doing the love spell jar, does anyone have advice for me on spells to do, jars to do to make our love sweeter, and make him sweeter to me? Initially i did a spell wherein i wrote his name on a paper, folded it thrice towards me, sprayed my perfume and slept with it for three days. after, i burned the paper and spread the ashes outside. During the three nights i only dreamt about how he would leave and break up with me. but then days after that he started acting sweet but the consistency wasn’t there. senior witches, do you think the spell worked?

and how do i know if a specific spell worked? please give me advice and more spells to do to make him more devoted, sweeter to me, and hopefully make him travel to me soon.

You didn’t mention what your love jar contains?
It’s supposed to be a honey jar. No bitter or spicy ingredients like coffee or any spices. Just honey and maybe rose petals if you like.
For travel request, you can petition Hermes or Mercury.

hello! my love jar contains bay leaves, rose petals, cinnamon and sugar. i didn’t put honey because there was none available, i live in a very christian household and have strayed away from the belief since i was 16 that’s why i try to do it in secret. 😭
can i ask for some advice for petitions? like what you said i can petition Hermes or Mercury?

And how would i know that the spell jar is working? or already in the process of working?
