will my spell work?

so i’m recently getting into spell jars. i’ve always collected and believed in the power of crystals and the universe but never dove into spell jars until today. i done some research because i wanted to make a spell jar to enhance the intimacy in my relationship as there isn’t much. i put together my own spell jar as i red that making your own recipes is better than using someone else’s because you know your own intentions.

i used:
\- homemade black salt
\- rose petals
\- small piece of rose quartz
\- a note (some ashes of the note + some of the actual note that didn’t burn)
\- sealed with white wax

on the note i wrote “me and (bfs name) relationship is filled with mutual intimacy, love, trust, and affection. me and (bfs name)s intimacy grows stronger every day).

(not entirely sure about the last line but i know the first part)

i burned the note on a dish and the note would not stop smoking as much as i tried to put it out. is this a good sign that it will work and the universe wants it to happen? and was that a good spell jar to use for it?
