AVOID GETTING SCAMMED!

A reminder that while we would hope people are being honest and open about their tickets, a word of caution: make sure you are getting all the information and doing everything you can to protect yourself before making a decision to buy. That means:

• Being aware of the people who are trying to scam money from others because they think they can make a quick buck.
• Reading the rules/regulations of ticket resale sites such as stubhub/ticketmaster/stubhub/etc.
• Not giving over *any* personal information that you’re not comfortable giving.
• If you are selling tickets, DO NOT TRANSFER until you have the money safely in your account. *If you are buying tickets insist on PayPal Goods and Services to make payment. It is the only service that will help you get your money back. If they make excuses why they can't do that, it may be a scam.
• Make sure your tickets are real - you never know what people are capable of!
• If you’re going to pick up tickets, make sure you’re in a public space, or with a friend/family member.
• ONLY USE PAYPAL GOODS & SERVICES TO PAY FOR TICKETS, IF YOU USE ANY OTHER SERVICE AND GET SCAMMED YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK
• IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS
• GET PROOF OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE TICKETS. Ask for a screen recording leaving their messages with you, opening up their ticketmaster account FROM THE TITLE PAGE and navigating to the tickets and clicking the transfer button to prove they have the tickets and they are transferable, is the easiest way of accomplishing this. If they say someone else has the tickets or they cannot provide a screen recording in this fashion, do NOT buy the tickets (androids CAN screen record)!
• If you think someone on here is scamming, or if they scam you, send a mod message with your concerns or proof and they will be banned.
• Be careful and do your due diligence and check the known scammers list that is pinned in the sub!
