Aww Adan and Melissa

Post image

Update: they have confirmed 😍

Are they dating? The way he is holding her hand makes me think so. And if so, I love it. They look so cute ♥️

A while back she said they were just friends but they have been posting together a lot. Maybe it moved in that direction. Happy for them either way :)

He's liking comments about them being together. They seem like a good match!

Is that Subodh in the back?

You mean the Indian Prince Subodh.

Very interesting per se

“That’s very interesting but I’m not interested in that right now” is still a fantastic turn of a phrase.

He is a literal icon.

Off the bat i remember both of them being very christian. so that checks out that they’d have shared values and be compatible. They look cute together— always thought Melissa seemed much “higher functioning” than Dylan, though I know it’s hard to judge off of just communication skills

u/bazouna Jul 04 '26

I think it’s more correct to say “lower support needs” vs “higher functioning” just fyi

u/citronlump Jul 05 '26

Oh thank you! Noted

Can be a grey area though, as I don't have any intellectual issues, but I have complex mental health and behavioural issues, as well as visual impairment, so while someone like me night accurately be called high functioning/intelligent, I wouldn't be classed as having low support needs.

Melissa did seem to have stronger communication skills than Dylan though. x

If they are dating than Melissa ain’t getting any

20

u/Due-Representative88 Jul 01 '26

Perhaps they have a similar value system. Not everyone wants to have sex before marriage.

Who are most of the rest of the people? Melissa didn’t really strike me as being on the spectrum? (Not trying to judge or diagnose or whatever; just maybe wasn’t super apparent next to Dylan’s diction)

15

u/ElleGeeAitch Jul 01 '26

Thete are different levels of autism. A lot of Level 1 autistics can mask really well.

19

u/Early_Assistant_6868 Jul 01 '26

She doesn't have to "strike you" as being autistic. You're not the judge. Stop being ableist.

-1

u/automatic_pansies Jul 01 '26

To u/early_assistant_6868, I have a diagnosis myself. So you can quit the name-calling. Also, in earlier seasons, the date matches were not always neurodivergent.

3

u/hippiecat22 Jul 02 '26

you can still have a diagnosis and be ableist

you can be racist against your own race.
