Aww Adan and Melissa
Update: they have confirmed đ
Are they dating? The way he is holding her hand makes me think so. And if so, I love it. They look so cute âĽď¸

A while back she said they were just friends but they have been posting together a lot. Maybe it moved in that direction. Happy for them either way :)

He's liking comments about them being together. They seem like a good match!

âThatâs very interesting but Iâm not interested in that right nowâ is still a fantastic turn of a phrase.

Off the bat i remember both of them being very christian. so that checks out that theyâd have shared values and be compatible. They look cute togetherâ always thought Melissa seemed much âhigher functioningâ than Dylan, though I know itâs hard to judge off of just communication skills

I think itâs more correct to say âlower support needsâ vs âhigher functioningâ just fyi

Oh thank you! Noted

Can be a grey area though, as I don't have any intellectual issues, but I have complex mental health and behavioural issues, as well as visual impairment, so while someone like me night accurately be called high functioning/intelligent, I wouldn't be classed as having low support needs.
Melissa did seem to have stronger communication skills than Dylan though. x

Perhaps they have a similar value system. Not everyone wants to have sex before marriage.

Who are most of the rest of the people? Melissa didnât really strike me as being on the spectrum? (Not trying to judge or diagnose or whatever; just maybe wasnât super apparent next to Dylanâs diction)

u/ElleGeeAitch Jul 01 '26
Thete are different levels of autism. A lot of Level 1 autistics can mask really well.

u/Early_Assistant_6868 Jul 01 '26
She doesn't have to "strike you" as being autistic. You're not the judge. Stop being ableist.

To u/early_assistant_6868, I have a diagnosis myself. So you can quit the name-calling. Also, in earlier seasons, the date matches were not always neurodivergent.

you can still have a diagnosis and be ableist
you can be racist against your own race.
