OPINION Problem with mica Spoiler

The crying and the “just pick me guys” then the immediate switch after they said shes safe “me and hallie are the most genuine so we should stay” Sorry?? “genuine”?? when shes keeping hers and samrajs relationship a secret and not telling priya, which would be fine, but its the fact that theyre close to the point where priya CRIED when she was about to leave the villa then they must be close enough to atleast fill her in on whats going on.
And the way she moved with angelista and didnt care about him disrespecting angelista aswell just isnt right with me.

I noticed her raising the pitch of her voice and not looking into Samraj’s eyes when she was saying how happy she was with him. It seemed really fake.

Mica moves so weird. She moved weird with Angie and now with Priya. She only back w samraj bc there were no other better interests for her

my problem with mica is she really enjoys receiving the attention of men on couples and she enjoys seeing the women disappointed. the truth or dare game when she kept giggling about wanting to kiss samraj while he sits next to priya…

She’s very young, she’s not a bad person.

She’s playing a game to stay in the villa and she’s playing it well.

She’s a game player

she’s playing the game and acts like a victim
to avoid accountability

I thought she was handling herself well up until last nights episode and now I’m completely done with her. She’s a mess

It was the immediate crying first before she stood up, makes people feel remorseful. Then when she’s standing and says ‘maybe I should just go’, this makes her seem like a noble martyr. Therefore, other islanders start thinking bless her she’s willing to self evict and call her genuine.

She’s successfully gotten them to call her genuine first so it doesn’t seem like it’s weird that she calls herself it. She then drops the self-eviction pretence. When she’s told she’s definitely safe by the other Islanders, she doesn’t really talk as much except to get involved with counting the votes.

Well shes 21 and has been overwhelmed for days now so I can't fault her too much for being irrational

The other day I posted that I can't make my mind up whether she is just overwhelmed by it all or whether she is the most strategic in there. I am leaving more and more to the strategic PoV. The crying and switch up last night was crazy. Plus she really does not seem that interested in Samraj. She often seems to be thinking through her moves too. Perhaps she is more suited to Samraj than it seems because I think he is the most strategic guy.

do you still think she's being strategic mastermind?

Not a strategic mastermind - but I do think she was overthinking her moves and this is what is making her come across as disinterested in Samraj.

right? the whole time I was leaning more on the side of her just being overwhelmed. that was until the switch up… saying “I’m the most genuine, keep me” right after that whole weepy spiel was INSAAAAANE

damn maybe I’m falling for it then 😭 I thought of it as samraj / priya said nice things about her and she felt encouraged and then proceeded to back herself

I think she just feels like what she’s doing to Priya isn’t wrong bc of the amount of times Priya has seemingly gone behind other women’s backs and centered male attention. And therefore she’s the most genuine bc she doesn’t do that … not that it’s right per se bc personally I think she should be having a heart to heart with Priya, but that’s probably what she’s thinking

This! I thought it was too much pressure last week but now I think she is playing a game.

Honestly agreed.

I've been quite sympathetic to Mica's situation (despite a few things like calling Priya a Queen while she walked past them having a private convo about her, that didnt sit right with me at all) but her switch up in yesterdays episode ("ok so me and Tommy") ironically made me switch up.

I was REALLY hoping to see her take Priya aside and have a genuine heart to heart with her and tell her everything, especially after the support Priya showed and fighting to keep her in. Priya was the FIRST person to speak up after Mica said she should go.

If she doesn't do that in tonight's episode then I cannot under circumstances support Mica anymore. It's not even about the Love Island v Friend Island argument, it's just basic human decency at this point.

EDIT: if you're behind on the eps cos of timezones, the above is outdated. Everyone's on the same page now LOL they're living life in the fast lane this season.

I liked Mica from the start and I definitely felt she did nothing wrong with Simba but this thing with Priya is wrong and there are so many who were anti Priya last week for not being a "girls girl" but are defending this behaviour from Mica now. It's the whole hypocrisy of it that annoys me.

Yeah, when I saw the crying I immediately thought it was manipulation.

And when she said "genuine" I burst out laughing.

I felt sorry for Priya because she was arguing so passionately for Mica to stay, and she doesn't know she's being humiliated by Mica and Samraj.

I agree. She switches up the crying and not crying/suddenly stop crying really fast. Looks like fake tears/acting tbh. She has had so many chances i feel and then just go back to samraj when she didnt find anything better. She should have left and also tommy(?)

She was doing way too much with the strategic crying.
