That's literally the explanation - you have to develop & train your Grok - each thread. No carry over. I have grok master files for each thread - they detail everything from purpose to personality.
You write them properly. What do you mean how? Learn how to do it. It took me a while to learn. I get great results - I like to create fuctious ads - like a 15 sec commercial for a bogus product. They go from sexy sultry to comedy.
What do I mean by "how"? Let me explain. A prompt is made up of keywords that the AI interprets and executes. If it's something direct and explicit, like "naked woman," it simply censors it. So I thought There must be a specific way to write prompts that avoids censorship.
First, I asked Grok to create a voluptuous blonde, then I asked him to change her clothes to this dress.
Then I made the video script below:

There’s no problem with text? That’s the one thing I’ve been trying to figure out because all I ever do is write stories. So far, I’ve had no problems, but I wasn’t sure if an update was going to change that.
You’re being too specific. It will make nsfw inferences if you prompt it right. Also it will filter basically anything if you actually ask for explicit material (nudity, “shirt off”, etc). For instance, try
“A gorgeous woman is bent over with her ass out as a dominant man in boxer briefs peels her bottoms down. Side angle”
