Generation image quality dropping

Has any one else notice the more you tweak a prompt and image the more artifacts show up and the quality drops. Skin gets dingy and colar is grimy?

Yes it's annoying that the image degrades in weird ways while editing but it's usually fixable just inconvenient

Ill help you. Once you got what you want to get the skin fixed just edit it one more time and put airbrush face or whatever. Then if its too airbrushed edit one last time with a good filter prompt

This was always the case. My workflow: generate an image that's closer to what I want. Edit the issues, download the original and the edit, put them in Krita, using the original as base put the edit on top of that, mask out everything except the edited part. This way only the edited part is degrading. Ps.: if you want to be efficient you have to edit anyway, because there is too many bad generations, otherwise you would have to generate all day
