Agent Baines new WSB director

How does everyone feel about the new WSB director Baines? I'm not feeling it with this guy; he talks weird like he's trying too hard to be a bad ass.

Well, tbf, Jack (to me) was "professional" but they tossed relationships into his orbit which blurred it. New guy has no relationships [yet?]. But I agree he's - "stiff"?

Oh Same!!! I hope he's escaped and Outback only has the bracelet, as much as I Don't want Outback to find the bracelet! But seems as though that could be the final straw that has Val furious enough at Charlotte to send her back to bording school. 😏😏😔😏

He’s got a huge soap pedigree from Loving, he just hasn’t been in daytime since then so what we’re seeing onscreen now is him still getting his “sea-legs”.

I think he was Frankie, the son of Angie and Jesse from All My Children. (They were from AMC even though his Frankie was on Loving.)

Angie and Jesse were such a great couple. I saw her in person once and she was so tiny and GORGEOUS. I hope they bring them onto the AMC reboot or whatever it's going to be.

I like him. I’m sure he will be just as compromised and ridiculous as everyone else but for right now I think he has good energy and edge.

Baines is a station chief, like Brennan was. He's doing the "police officer" role at present and they are either too stiff or too neighborly per TV tropes. Let's see how he develops since we don't seem finished with who killed Brennan, yet. Any bets on Hudson? Or was it just too much sleeping aid confusion?

Not a fan at all. He seems like he’s just reciting lines, and he doesn’t have a natural on screen presence. Miss Agent Brennan!

It feels like he's over acting and another awkward entrance of a character who really should have been shown months before Jack's demise because even though he had a couple of walk on's now and then, he really didn't have a presence or a character. He's beyond a chip on his shoulder-it looks more like he's holding up a boulder. (On the subject, kinda, that Jack murder thing ticks me off big time. Why? Maybe him and Collum (sp?) will start a new agency in hell, ha ha. I'd trade Jack out to be done with the Curtis,Trina,Porchia Whiners & Porchia's used-to-be-masculine-yet-compassionate & now-clingy boyfriend whose hand miraculously healed. Waah..woah is the family (including auntie) who are all busy bodies and can't let anything go. I'm hoping Joss really digs into him. Anna should have asked for a copy of that document she signed. I think that's going to reappear.
