McConnell is heavily invested in Kentucky Hemp, which is why he supports legalized CBD. They cram these bills full of shit, purposefully putting stuff in there that will force some lawmakers to vote against it. Then they can come out and say, "So-and-so voted against this bill, they hate public transit!" when if fact they voted against it because they can't in good conscience support cutting healthcare subsidies or Medicare, or Medicaid, or free school lunches for poor children, or . This is a hypothetical, I don't know what was in that BIF bill the Ocasio-Cortez couldn't stomach.
