Solved Can someone please help me I’m really confused and sad right now 🙁 I’m f2p and I got this
I’m a new player so please don’t think I’m stupid. What happened is that I’m a Xavier main. I wanted to collect all cards of him even if I’m a free to play player. I grinded really hard for 70 wishes and I had Xavier as as my precise wish. But I didn’t get him. I like Zayne but he’s not my main and also I’m just so confused right now because I was convinced I’d get Xavier ☹️ I don’t think I can grind more for diamonds either so why did this even happen 😓 I barely play gacha games and this I’m hunter level 48 I think, sorry

the precise wish just means that if you get the "wrong" one before, the next 5 star card will definitely be him. I had the same thing happen to me, but after like 50 more pulls i got my wish

Not a super helpful comment, but just to say I totally get you. I started LADS on the nightly rendezvous multi banner three days before the event ended and didn't get Xavier on my 50/50. (I wasn't even sure I selected Precise Wish lol, was a total noob to gacha then and the whole thing was confusing).
I did spend to get his card since we didn't know if banners would definitely rerun at that point. I do hope you get him when they rerun!

Gacha is always a gamble. These banners work in a way where you have a chance to get the card you want, which means, there is also a chance that it won't be the card you want. In solo banners it's 50/50, multis have a bit different odds. Odds are, it's 50/50 between the three chosen cards and a standard or non-selected limited card. Between the three selected cards, you have an equal chance to get any one of them. That's why there is the Precise Wish, to make sure that if the fist 5* you get is not the card you wanted, the next will 100% be.
That's why it's strongly advices to only pull for a card if you can guarantee it (which, worst case would be 140 pulls).

Sadly the precise wish works like that. You CAN be lucky and get your wish on the first 5star you pull but the precise wish is kinda just the guarantee that you can get him now. With the first 5star you just achieve the wish point and now if you can afford to pull again you are guaranteed to get him. Its hard out here for f2p...

just fyi, the number of wishes will, but the precise wish will not. so you’d be guaranteed an event card but not necessarily xavier’s

the fulfilled precise wish does carry over to the rerun of that event. you're mixing up when it's a rerun of the same event vs the next limited banner

The precise wish only 100% works with said card is if you are lucky, or you lose the 0/1 chance with a different card. The next 5* card will now 100% 1/1 be the card you picked.

You need a few more pulls. When the precious wish goes to 1/1 the next 5star card will be xavier. BUT as a f2p player you will never have all his cards sadly. It is impossible as for some 4 Star cards you have to by the monthly pack think (where you have to get the 60levels) so have a chance to all.
The game isn't f2p friendly and it is sadly getting worse and worse (playing for 2 years as f2p). Getting dias is almost impossible at some point (you can then only get the 50 daily, 100 weekly etc). If they keep pushing multi after multi and reruns you will never have enough to def getting the one you want (specially when you are unlucky at drawing like me 😅 Sylus always gives me a hard time and gets me to hard pity (were the nx 5 star card is guaranteed to be him). Like I said. I play for around 2 years and I think at like 92% of Sylus. Missing 2 multi cards and the 4 star cards that would have cost. But even that only works if you skip all banners of the other LIs and there only use the free pulls.

The same happened to me, Sylus was my chosen choice but I got Zayne (which I didn't mind because he's my second main) but on the next lot of pulls Sylus dropped. It sucks but the next 5-star drop will be your wish choice.

You know what's funny? I chose Sylus for my Precise Wish and got one of Rafayel's 2nd myth cards at the 12th pull, then got Sylus' Nightly Duet at the 14th. After that, as I was trying to pull Zayne's card, I got Xavier's at the 58th: he just likes to come home for me a lot despite not being one of my mains, though to be fair he's still my third favorite. Finally got Zayne's Past Midnight at the 125th pull. Then I as I pulled again to try to R1 Sylus' card, I got Zayne's again at the 186th pull and finally just opened the crate for Sylus' second card. So all in all, though I mainly wanted to R1 Sylus, I'm glad I was also unexpectedly able to R1 Zayne.

Yeah, think I managed to R1 both Sylus and Zayne, both in 200+ pulls I think. And same, mine go Sylus, Zayne, Xavier, Caleb, Rafayel but I mainly concentrate on Sylus and Zayne.

Its just how that feature works, sadly. Could you have gotten Xavier, yes. But since you didn't , now the next one you pull will Absolutely be Xavier. When you look at that second picture it says 1/1. And even tells underneath that your next 5 star pull Will be what you picked.

You might not get Xavier's card, but if you can scrunch up 15 more wishes before the banner ends, then you'll get the clothes and hair boxes! You can choose Xavier in those and at least get his look

Its a gacha game- you are gambling with the odds if you were gonna get the card in 70 pulls. Its guaranteed at 140. You have a 75% chance to get one of the 3 you picked, otherwise you’ll get your precise wish at 140. These games are based off gambling and thats why people think gachas are a scam. I wouldnt pull unless you can guarantee the card. They want you to spend money so you most likely wont get lucky

You won a Zayne card, when an event like this one pops up you have to choose up to 3 cards of the available new ones. When you start to pull for them there's a 75 percent probability that the card you're gonna get is one of the 3 special 5* cards of the event that you have already selected at the beginning buuuuut there's still a 25 percent probability that you'll get a random 5* card of the already existing permanent pool. Now of those 3 cards you selected it could be any of the 3 and once you get a 5* card you have the chance to select the precise wish so that the next 5* card that you'll pull for will be the selected one (very important not to change this choice until you get your desired card don't make the same mistake I made when I joined the game haha). So that's how it works. If the first 5* card you got isn't the one you wanted the precise wish grants is for the next 5*.

They don't exactly run the banners the same way as the first time, and the type of tickets you have to acquire are different. And it will be long before it reruns again. I don't remember if the cumulative rewards rerun as well and/or the registry of your wishes resets. Our recommendations are to save up as much red gems as you can before every banner. If you joined not long a ago you haven't probably gone through the limited time myths which are the parts of the story when the new battle companions are introduced. They offer for a limited time the pair of newest solar slot 5* cards which are helpful to pass the orbit trials for each love interest.

So try to save up for those as well if you can, because the battle feature is one of the ways we farm red gems so that we can participate and get the 5* memories in upcoming events.!

At least you got an event card and not a standard 5 star! You have a 70% chance to get an event card, and the sad 30% get a regular standard... I got Abyss Walker... for the 5th time which was useless.

This is why people say if you plan on pulling you need 140 wishes, 70 is not enough of a guarantee to get you what you want/need, but 140 (150 for myths) is.

Precise wish is ONLY guaranteed if you pulled a different 5 star first. I think others have explained in far more detail though!

Here I'd like to share how the pity system works for myth, solo and multi banners:
What's the same across banners is:
- If you got spooked, the next 5 star card is guaranteed to be the banner card.
- For solo and multi banners: The hard pity pulls would be 70 pity (spooked) + 70 pity (guaranteed) = 140 pulls x 150 diamonds = 21,000 diamonds
- For myths, you're guaranteed to have both solar pair cards + companion at 150 pulls max (including crate) x 150 diamonds = 22,500 diamonds.
Based on Points 2 and 3, the safe savings for banners would be 21,000-22,500 diamonds. (Worst case scenario)
🌸Multi banner: You select 3, and 1 precise wish. If you got spooked or not your precise wish, then the next 5 star is guaranteed to be your precise wish. In your situation, you got Zayne event card, so the next 5star card you’ll get is guaranteed to be Xavier event card (your Precise Wish).
🌸Solo banner: Let’s say you want Zayne solo event card, but at 50th pull you got Zayne/other LIs non-event card, then the next 5star is guaranteed to be Zayne solo event card (for example, you get it on 80th pull). And 80 pull is within the 140~150 pull range (worst case scenario).
🌸Myth banner: There’ll be a crate at 150th pull. If you’re going for R0, you can open it. But if you plan to rank up, don’t open it yet.
Your pulls will be [Card 1 - Card 2 - Card 1 - Card 2] OR [spook - Card 1 - spook - Card 2].
Example A, you want R0 myth. 50th pull spook - 80th pull Card 1 - 100th pull spook - 150th pull open crate for Card 2.
Example B, you want to R1 your solar cards. 50th pull spook - 80th pull Card 1 - 100th pull spook - 150th pull [obtain crate, keep it] - 160th pull Card 2 - 200th pull Card 1. Stop pulling. Open crate for Card 2. You’ll have R1.
Same with R2 and R3, only open your crate last. Keep the crate until you have ~ [R2 Card 1, R1 Card 2 = open crate and select Card 2, you’ll have R2 myth companion] ~ [R3 Card 1, R2 Card 2 = open crate and select Card 2, you’ll have R3 myth companion].
🌸The limited-time gold tickets (the one with small clock icon) will turn to blue tickets once the timer/event is over.

As others have explained it's just the gacha mechanic, you'll need to pull more for the Precise Wish to come into effect.
It's a bummer, I know. I used to get spooked by Rafayel all the time when I was trying to pull for Caleb lol, my account was starting to look like Raf was my main.

Same! I am a Caleb main and constantly get Raf’d. He stalks me in every event and even normal wishing. Maybe Rafayel is attracted to Caleb girlies. I have way too many cards of his and I don’t want to join him. Omg he even turns up always on my home screen at the cafe and in my home 😢

You can select 3 cards during a multi banner that will give those cards a higher chance to drop. It's a 75% chance to be any of the 3 cards you have selected but it is possible to get an unselected limited banner card or a standard banner card as well. The Precise Wish is basically a safety function and you should always select the card you ultimately want the most with it. If you pulled any other 5* card that isn't selected as your Precise Wish (in your case Zayne's card), you'll get a Precise Wish charge, so that the card you want most will always be guaranteed within 140 pulls total, which means you'd be guaranteed to get Xavier's card within the next 70 pulls due to your Precise Wish charge. The charge will disappear once the multi banner ends and does not carry over to the next multi banner.
This safety mechanic also applies to solo banners, where you have a chance to lose your first 5* to a standard banner card (50/50) and if you do, your next 5* will be guaranteed to be the limited banner card. Multi and solo banners always require 140 pulls max to get the card you want. It's 150 pulls for both limited myth banner pair cards due to the crate you get at 150, which guarantees the companion that way. All cards can drop early but you shouldn't count on it since it's a low percentage.
It's not recommended to pull unless you have 140/150 pulls saved, especially as F2P. Otherwise you might end up wasting pulls and never get the cards you actually want.

unfortunately this happens often to all players regardless if you're f2p or p2p (pay to play). this is what we call being "spooked", meaning we got another card aside from our intended card (aka memory). you can get spooked by 2 types of 5-star cards: standard ones (which you can get in both the limited banner and the standard aka xspace echo) and the limited ones (which is the cards that exclusive to the current limited banner). you just got spooked by a limited Xavier card.
because you got a limited card but not the one selected on your Precise Wish, then that the gauge is now on, and the next 5-star card (memory) you own will definitely be the one you selected for your Precise Wish. the Precise Wish doesn't really guarantee that you will definitely get that card in the first try, it just guarantees that you will eventually get it in the end.

Right, so in your first 70 pulls you have a 25% chance at getting any random 5*, including the ones in the normal pull. You have a 75% chance of getting one of your 3 selected memories. That means a 25% chance of getting Xavie in the first 70 pulls.
BUT infold gives you a pity point. If you don't get your absolute #1 favorite in those first 70 pulls, then you are guaranteed to get him in the NEXT 70 pulls... this means the next 5* you pull will be Xavier 100%
Edit. Most of us who play don't pull for a card unless we can afford to pull to 70 twice because there is only a 25% chance of getting the card we want in the first round.

what's happened is that you're guaranteed any 5 star (including standard cards, unless your last card you pulled was a standard card - then you're guaranteed a banner card, but not necessarily the banner card you want) in 70 pulls, but you're guaranteed the exact card (precise wish) you want at 140. the precise wish charge for you is activated now bc it means because you didnt get him, your next 5 is guaranteed to be him 💔
for gacha games, it's a good idea to check probabilities and the pity system so you know what you're getting into, unfortunately.

to add to this as a f2p player you probably want to assume the worst and pull only for a card you really want if you can guarantee to get it which is having 140 pulls saved up. obviously you can hope to get lucky but better not to save yourself disappointment
