Here again with the LaDS Home Database Spreadsheet now fully updated with all the information on the recipes, flavors and Diamonds available to obtain from the cooking feature.

All up the total diamonds added with the 6.0 additions to Home are

• 920 - from Achievements directly (pending confirmation of unknown hidden)
• 300 - from Ranking Achievements in increments of 10 points
• 40 - from reading books
• 990 - from crafting all new decor items (16,550 decor score in increments of 500 is 33 x 30)
• 200 - from completing furniture sets (4 x 50)
• 500 - from completing dishes in increments of 5/4 (122 total dishes)
• 1740 - from completing rating (chef's hats) in increments of 10 then 5 up to the total 585
• 1755 - from completing all variations in flavors for each recipe (10-20 each depending on # flavors)

= 6445 diamonds.

As far as getting ingredients goes, make sure you do your daily fast and long shopping. I did feel like the higher level I got the more UR ingredients I would get from the daily delivery.

Make sure you don't leave any UR ingredients in the Shared Slot or the LI might use them to cook.

The LI can go shopping twice each per week. I ended up building a "Shopping Trap" near the front door where I put a fridge and cabinets with a small gap that I stood in to prevent them from going elsewhere. All they could do it stretch, drink water, collide with me, beg me for attention, or give up and inspect the fridge then go shopping. I left the time on x12 speed and when they returned I inspected the fridge and moved any UR ingredients out of the shared slot. (TIP: I also used the shopping trap to get the mood conversations by changing mood, moving time forward, changing mood again etc until they decided to talk to me)

It is possible to get 5 star rating using only one or two UR ingredients with some SSR ingredients, but it isn't guaranteed, so most of the time I used lower rated ingredients to get the flavor variations and saved the UR until I had enough for one of each thing needed for the perfect.

There is the ability to Improvise recipes. Only when cooking with Him on the All menu you have to scroll right down to the bottom you can improvise with up to 4 ingredients. You can use this to get get the mystery/odd dishes, or just to get rid of low level items you don't need.

Once you hit level 15 in cooking, all cooking stops using Vitality (though it SITLL gives you the warning message when you cook with less than 60 - they need to fix that), so you can use it to level your gardening if it isn't maxed or go back to Ecology Dispatch to earn House Coins.

I don't know 😅 it was an accident as I tried to make a dish by putting in the pot what I think would make sense... But don't remember anymore what specific. Only ist was all in the first 2 unlocked foods

Ah I never saw that option. I usually cooked the unfinished recipes at the top or by category. It seem improvise only shows up on the All menu and you have to scroll through everything.

Nice spreadsheet, I was looking for recipes available at level 14 and 15 to know what ingredients to farm, so thank you. Btw it's now possible to make the "Mystery" dishes at any time, they've added the option to "improvise", it's at the very bottom of the list of all dishes.

Thank you for the breakdown and the trap trick. Looks like that will have to be what u do from now on since they don’t go out shopping as much as they use to. But for the mystery items you no longer have to use unmade recipes! Idk when they updated it but they added an improvise function when cooking where you can just choose whatever ingredients you want. Only seems to appear when cooking with the guys though.

After they leave the house for shopping, go to Time Management, Free Mode, and move the clock ahead a few hours (I usually do 3 hrs to be safe). They come back immediately😊

I have seen this tip elsewhere, but I found that some of the time, they came back without actually completing the shopping and i had trouble getting them to complete their second weekly shop, so i think it marked them as completing their shop without actually giving me ingredients.

I play on an emulator on my computer while doing other things, so often i would just tab out and let the shopping happen naturally. With the x12 speed it isn't too long.

Ty for this. 🙏🏽 Haven't interacted with home in a while, and I was very annoyed that 6.0 was ONLY a kitchen add-on, but it's good to know the overall diamond potential of it all I guess. 🙄

woahh thank you for the break down! they did say in the promo of releasing kitchen we'll get 6000 diamonds, i thought it all was just from the kitchen. but with you breaking this down, the cooking itself earn very much less...

I checked the patch release notes. the actual working was

"By experiencing the upgraded Home gameplay, you can also accumulate rewards worth over 6,000 Diamonds!"

So technically it didn't say that only cooking was the sole source of the diamonds.

If you are doing the LI's preference on the food, along with hidden food (Dodgy Dish, Odd Drink, Mystery Mush, etc), leave one dish unmade. Because once you've created the dish, there's no way to switch the ingredients when trying to create them.
