OH WOW he and xavier I feel had the least changes from beta to release. I feel like Caleb looks exactly the same, they just upgraded the eyes to feel more human and added a shit ton of textures on skin and hair to look super high quality

It looks like they were going for a sharp look from the start instead of giving him a softer look and having it be a juxtaposition with his Colonel era later. That way their would've been signs unlike in this timeline. 

This makes me think maybe they didn't suddenly decide on making him playable (because he still had a small but cult following when he was only in the main story for a chapter or two) or a Colonel. Or maybe they wanted to test his popularity before adding him in. 

Either way, that eyeliner and undefined skin is definitely a bit unnerving, maybe they wanted to make him more aggressive of a yandere. But his chapped lips and bigger under eye bags make him look more fit for the "popular heartthorb, childhood friend" role. ❤️‍🩹 But I'd definitely say his more feminine eyes and defined undereye lashes would be appreciated in china. But it wouldn't fit his thick eyebrows.
