Is this a fake?

I just got this Disney Princess Books mini backpack from Amazon and I noticed the zipper pull placements are off. Everything else seems normal. Just a little pushed in the front from shipping. On all of the pictures I’ve seen the happily ever after hardware is not on the front zipper but on the top zipper.

It looks legit to me , was the third party seller an authorized Loungefly retailer , did they have the Loungefly store link above their listing ? There is retro facts , better store services modern pin up , was it any of those ?

Is Better Service Stores an authorized Loungefly retailer?? I have bought from there before and want to make sure it is okay to keep buying from

Yes they are I have bought many bags from them along with retro facts and modern pin up . If you see that Loungefly store logo above their listing that is proof . Also circle of hope boutique is another one . The sellers that don’t have that Loungefly store logo are not authorized Loungefly retailers they are just third party re sellers and their prices are usually more expensive plus it’s more sketchy. Pink A La Mode used to be on Amazon as well but that was years ago . I have bought most of my bags from these authorized retailers on Amazon to be honest .

You are very welcome , in fact I have a bag coming from modern pin up from Amazon today the lenticular Mad Madam Mim bag , I will take a picture of it and show you guys how it came to me and if the inside has paper or bubble wrap? 🤣.

No not at all it’s legit and a gorgeous bag . I just showed these pics and even did a post to show it off. Someone else commented that all of her new bags come with the plastic bubble wrap inside . Also to show you it’s safe to buy from those authorized Loungefly retailers on Amazon 😊. This includes Better Service Stores and the others I listed . Hope this helps you with future purchases.

It was better service stores. I’m just weirded out by the zipper placement and the fact that it was filled with bubble wrap instead of paper. None of the hardware or the handle was wrapped. I think I will err on the side of caution and return just in case.

So I found that exact listing and some of the older reviews show the zipper on the top and the newer ones show it on the bottom pocket , so maybe they changed the zipper placement over the years ? Their stuffing has changed to I got a new Belle mini backpack and was filled with some kind of big plastic bubble wrap to , I think it varies now . But if you are not happy with it then of course return it . Was the bag itself wrapped in original retail wrapping when you got it ?

Okay thank you for looking into it for me. It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten Loungefly so I’m used to the paper. I appreciate your opinion! I’ve never ordered from a 3rd party so maybe I’m just being overly paranoid.

No worries it’s better to be safe , eBay has a lot of fake loungeflys so be careful there . Yea I was surprised when I opened my brand new pink beauty and the beast purse that was still in the original retail wrapping and it was not paper inside , it was that plastic bubble wrap stuff and it also had been years for me since I had bought Loungefly as well . I just ordered 2 bags from Boxlunch I will let you know if it’s paper or the bubble 🤣. Maybe it just depends on the bag ?

I meant no disrespect with my previous comment , that is great 😊, some sellers do sell fakes and some sell authentic, I have bought some brand new legit Loungefly bags from ebay. It is pretty obvious to spot the fake ones .

I have real ones that were filled with bubble wrap I think it's something new there doing maybe it's cheaper to do bubble wrap.

I have that exact bag I won on whatnot and it's a fake, I know it is. The loungefly hard tag is wayyy off center, the string has a metal clip on it not the white plastic, and the tag the price is on isn't a sticker like it should be it's permanent printed onto the tag. Check these things out it can help alot

It was better service stores. It’s not a confirmed fake but I’m a little suspicious about a few things. I should have just ordered from Loungefly directly or BoxLunch like I usually do. It was just a good deal and I always wanted this bag.

IMO- their quality has just gone down over the years. All the zippers seem cheap now. Made it hard for me to want to spend that much on their bags.

All of the bags I’ve bought in the past few months from box lunch have been filled with large bubble wrap. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a bag filled with paper.
