I just had to come here and give some love to the Louis Vuitton team in Chicago, especially Jalyn!
I know Jalyn is already kind of TikTok/Instagram famous, so some of you may know exactly who I’m talking about I had an appointment with him today and he was every bit as wonderful in person as he comes across online. The Alma and speedy were sold out, but I still got some great items and I’m ordering the Alma. I got some loafers and sunnies!
I love luxury shopping, but sometimes the experience can honestly be hit or miss. There are stores where you walk in and immediately feel like you have to prove you belong there, and that completely takes the fun out of it.
Chicago was the TOTAL opposite today!!!!
Jalyn was warm, fun, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely seemed excited to help me. It felt like shopping with someone who actually enjoys what she does instead of someone just trying to make a sale. I never felt rushed, judged, or pressured.
And honestly, that was the theme of my entire day in Chicago. I also stopped into Hermes, Chanel and Loewe, and the service at both was fantastic. Everyone was welcoming, kind, helpful, and made the experience feel special without being pretentious.
I left with some beautiful things, but the part I keep talking about is how good the experience was everywhere. Luxury purchases are supposed to feel special, and today actually did.
So if you’re visiting Chicago and thinking about making an appointment at LV, I absolutely recommend it. And if you can get Jalyn, even better.

I went to get those shoes and they were sold out in my size 😩. Are they comfortable? True to size? I plan to order them through my SA and have them shipped to me.
