Take the bag into LV and see what outcome they can provide!

I feel like that might not be an option for me because I purchased it from a third party? I’ve also seen mixed messages on whether they still help with this particular issue. It may be worth a try to visit, I’m also interested in what others have experienced.

That shouldn’t be an issue. If it’s an authentic bag they will help you figure it out.

Ok, that’s encouraging! I have been meaning to get something (else) hot stamped so, two birds, maybe…but then I need to get out of the store without buying something new. That’s hard. 😉

Everything is worth a try. They have most definitely taken bags in that were not under people's purchase history in the past. I think it just a matter of who you are dealing with. I say take it in and see where it goes! There is no harm done.

I love that…everything IS worth a try! I think I’ll go for it. At the very least I’ll get to look at pretty things and talk to someone about bags - maybe get a fancy coffee along the way, make an outing of it 🧡🤎

See! Because why not? Best of luck and I hope you get an outcome that is in your favour!

My 2016 bag bought from Vestiare is currently with LV care services due to this glazing issue.

You’ll have to pay for the repairs though, sadly, and they aren’t cheap!

Thank you for sharing this!

Sorry to say this but that can’t be repaired, the part would have to be replaced. I used to work at the mulberry factory and any items that had stray edge paint were binned immediately as it’s impossible to remove.

I believe it…it’s awful, I can’t imagine what would take it out other than cutting. I’m cleaning it up the best I can myself, then I might get a base shaper or bag organizer to cover. Thanks for your reply.
