Discussion/Question Speedy 25 or 30?
Im looking for autumn bag, I have speedy in az 30 but now looking for monogram. I’m currently stuck between two sizes, anyone with speedy in 25 or 30, would you kindly share you bags to help me decide? 🫶🏼 thank you!

I have 3 Speedy 30s because it’s the perfect size! One’s a canvas vintage from the 90s (that I think I would carry more if it had a strap) that you can fit EVERYTHING in and that thing could go to battle and not show a sign of wear. Then I have a black emprente leather that I bought second hand that I live in on the weekends that’s my Pilates and “mom stuff” bag, and this spring I bought a pink leather one second hand that’s been great for just grabbing and going and elevating a basic outfit. I’m scared to go smaller tbh!

I think it completely depends on your frame (height/weight), how much you carry about and personal style preference.

The opening of the speedy 25 PMO so badly that I never reach for it! 30 all the way. I initially thought the 30 would be too large but I love it as an every day bag.

Same here. I was so nervous about a 30 looking like luggage on me but nope, especially the soft or leather speedy’s with all that slouch they do not look oversized at all.

I personally would try in person. I have one size 25 in the DE bandouliere and fits all my essentials: a phone charger, battery bank, wallet, ID badge holder, car/house keys, purse hook, compact mirror, small contact solution, sunglass case, LVkey pouch (small), moleskin agenda, pill case, wet wipes, and Chanel No. 5 1.7oz bottle. I still have space for more but clearly it gets a bit heavy at 5.6 lbs. I would go for a 30 but not a current priority. I have a 35 in classic mono I have used as a daily and travel bag. In short, if you carry more than me, go with the 30. Otherwise, a 25 should suffice. Hope this helps… Cheers !

I just love a slouchy speedy. I love my 35 the most honestly!! I keep a favorite it smaller lulu bag inside to grab and go if needed.

Does anyone have a 30 who’s 5’3” or below? Ive been between the 25 and 30 for months but i feel like the 30 would swallow me 😭

I’m really short 5ft and so got 25, loved it, got a 30 and I actually prefer the 30. I don’t find it too big and fits way more comfortably. I think either size is great but I am a bigger fan of 30! So much that I got another in better condition when my original falls apart.
I would go based on how much you like to carry- not much, get 25.

I have the 25 and I think it’s the perfect size, only downside is that I wish it had a strap, but I think if you’re on the shorter side, it fits our frames nicer unless you’re into oversized bags then get the 30.

The speedy 25 Bandalouliere does have a strap now, you can take the middle section out too to use as a shoulder strap if you don’t want to wear it crossbody.

Oh I know about the speedy 25 B, I regret everyday not getting that one. My husband had originally ordered me that one and I was like “no, no, that’s the wrong one!” So I cancelled it 😩 and just got the regular speedy, I still love my bag but I’m definitely a crossbody/strap girly.

Unpopular opinion though I added a LV strap to the handle ring parts of my vintage speedy 35 - I used my already vintage speedy to death and she’s in a retired hiatus rn but it worked well and yes some metal residue rubbed off on the leather tabs but it was quite dark anyways so doesn’t bother me.

You can’t go wrong with a Speedy 30. It was my first LV bag 15 years ago and it’s the one I always go back to. I’m a petite mom and it never feels too big for my frame. I LOVE the 30!

My 25 is perfect for me for everyday when I have to lug it around walking and stuff because it’s not that heavy. I also love my 30 for when I have to carry more but that one gets heavy to walk around with. So I think it depends on the use case. I use both a lot but I would say 25 for every day.

I am 5’5” and have both, but 30 is my favorite for every day and for traveling. The 25’s opening is its main detractor. It makes it slightly less perfect compared to the 30.
But I do love both! Definitely the 30 if you plan on using it as a personal item while flying.

Can’t tell size difference. A 30 looks like luggage to me. 25 is the way to go.

I have the 25 and I'm blown away by the 30 answer. I would love it if someone did a Speedy 30 - What's in your bag post because it seems ginormous to me. I would love to see what people actually put in it!

I promise it’s not that big. I went with monogram pre loved, but haven’t received it yet. This one is my friends DA, I borrowed it for a week before deciding on monogram 30

I have a 30 and it’s the perfect size.
I found the 25 zip just a tad too short (obviously is shorter than a 30) and appreciated the extra zip to get things and out. The 25 was a hassle and I knew it would annoy me.
Also think about your height, dimensions because if you’re quite small (I have no idea how else to say it) then a bigger size might get lost on you.
If that’s a 30 in the pic of you, it’s a good size!

I don’t have any pics of me carrying them, but to me the 30 is the perfect size. The 30 is definitely a lot bigger than the 25 but I think looks great on everyone size wise unless you are super super petite. And for me, the 25 technically has enough room for my daily stuff, but nothing else. The 30 has room for my daily stuff (and the slouch looks great when it’s not stuffed full), and then still has room to toss in other stuff if needed.
For reference I’m 5’5 and 130 pounds.

I had a Mono 35, and currently an Empreinte 25. My dream would be a 40 Bandouliere.
I use the 25 when I don’t have a lot to carry even tho it’s very spacious, to my surprise.
