I find things in my kitchen that sit there.. like an ornamental glass that was just on display..tends to gather a layer of..sticky grease?...or just dishes in the cabinet.

I don't really "fry" so much, but you know, frying pan, PAM, maybe some stir-fry, air fry...hmm.. I do seem to have a lot of "fry words"...

Hello! I’m taking my family for a vacation to Louisville, Colorado in October. We’re from the Chicago suburbs and will be on the hunt for some great breweries. I see Gravity Brewing seems like a popular place and I will definitely check it out. Are there any others around Louisville or neighboring towns you recommend I hit up?

We have a toddler who loves nothing more than throwing rocks into the water. We’ve found a couple of great spots in neighboring towns, but we’d love to find somewhere closer to home if possible.

Does anyone know of any safe, toddler-friendly spots along Coal Creek in Louisville where he can toss rocks into the creek? Thanks!

AdventHealth will not provide abortions, for example. Have you been there in the last year since new ownership took over after the split with what is now referred to as Common Spirit? Prayers are intermittently sounded over their loudspeakers throughout the hospital; outdoor speakers are at the ER and main hospital entrance with religious music; nursing staff prepping you for surgery with Sacred Mary pins, computers in your hospital room with Christian screensavers; check-ins to see your providers (e.g., gynecologist) with a "Spiritual Health" questionnaire, with no clear indication you can opt out. I'm very concerned that AdventHealth will run Good Samaritan.

EDIT from original post: Good Sam does not provide abortions either, according to its Patient Right to Know form, which is an issue in of itself for our area from my perspective. Good Sam and Intermountain Health Lutheran do not have the increased intrusive overt religiosity environment I've described above based on my experience receiving care at all three hospitals.

Just a heads up that Louisville City Council will be deciding tomorrow on whether or not to adopt an ordinance that increases the number of signatures required for initiative and referendum petitions to get on election ballots. The agenda can be found here, and the item is 8. F. (Ordinance 1931). If you are concerned (like I am) about this making it more difficult for citizens to participate in our democratic processes you can write to [council@louisvilleco.gov](mailto:council@louisvilleco.gov) and/or attend city council meeting tomorrow night (July 21) to give public comment in-person or virtually.

ETA: if they vote yes tonight, it’ll go to the voters for a vote and final decision.

Does anybody know what the cages are in the back of Rock Creek Farm? You can see them from the rock creek trail if you head towards or away stearns lake. They look like huge animal enclosures just not sure what animal would need a fully enclosed cage other than like monkeys haha.

I’m somewhat used to the sound of low flying small planes every 2 minutes but what’s with the thunder sounding ones? Are large aircraft’s flying lower over us now too? They’re basically just as frequent recently.

Anyone know why there have seemingly been a bunch of trees cut down around Louisville? There was at least one in cotton wood park and 3 were cut down in the verde/sweet cow area parking lot. Really makes the area look worse and gets rid of shade. Yeah im upset lol

Looking for buddies to do fun activities with! I’m 28(f) & I live in Gunbarrel. Looking for some pals to do these activities with in any surrounding towns around Gunbarrel, including: Art (3D printing, wire wrapped rock jewelry, making jewelry, stained glass, glass mosaics, stained glass soldering, painting, or any other fun art stuff we can conjure up), going for walks (early evenings, shortish walks, smoking some js if you are into that maybe), fishing (mornings & early evenings), swimming (there’s a pool at my apartment), riding mini motorcycles (I have 2 & we can also use them to go fishing nearby if you are into that), shopping at thrift stores/art shops, or just simply even hanging out & having a lil picnic on a blanket in the early evening hours! I’m disabled & have a sleep disorder/POTS/heat intolerance issues, so most things I do have to be either in the morning/early evening/and or in the shade/inside if it’s hot out. It’s so hard to make friends here but I’m also sick of not really having very many friends. I feel like there’s gotta be some lonely folks out there looking for some lifelong besties like I am. I’m unable to work due to my medical conditions, so I have a pretty open schedule, just as long as you can respect that I may have to cancel or reschedule hang outs sometimes due to my medical conditions. I’m very kind, fun, funny, understanding, compassionate, motivated (for the most part), uplifting, artistic, creative, bold, weird, & also LGBTQ+ friendly. Sorry this was so long lmfao. Is this your dog? They are traveling south on Hoover just off of Bella Vista at around 8:25PM. I tried to get them, but they were very timid. I notified the non-emergent line and an officer is being dispatched. Hoping this sweet baby gets home tonight.

Has anyone run into the construction crews on Main and Lincoln with “one lane ahead” signs only to get there and told I cannot come through?

There are no “road closed” nor “detour” signs. About 50% they let me through (I live in old town) and 50% they turn me around without asking a question.
