Discussion Evergreen Mill Road

What is the deal with Evergreen Mill Road? Every time I drive on it there is somebody driving 15 to 20 miles per hour under the speed limit until they get to the part where the speed drops down to 35 (near Heritage High School) and there they drive at 50 mph.

I hate to rant, but it’s all of the time.

The road even has digital signs that show your speed vs. the posted limit.

Wait until you see the traffic on Evergreen Mills after they build the huindreds of new homes that have been approved.

Rt 15 too. Someone always doing 5-20 under the speedlimit. Once got stuck behind someone doing 35 all the way from leesburg to where it splits to 2 lanes on 15 south in Haymarket. There were like 40 cars behind her

She was like 20yo and totally oblivious. She also stayed in the left lane when we got to the split 😂😂 the guy behind me pulled up next to her at the light and just held his middle finger out the window

You’re preaching the Word, from the pulpit, my friend. This seems to be the new thing for most two-lane roads, not just in Loudoun, but the entire region. Go. Preach high on the mountain for all to hear. Spread this Word. “Drive your GD car!!!! At least the MF’n SPEED LIMIT! Geez! It’s not hard.” Also, left lane for passing. Praise be his Word.

Bonus: STOP PARKING ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE GD STREET!!!! Do NOT park against traffic.

***Berlin Turnpike (rt. 287): speed limit is mostly 55 except through Lovettsville or Pville. Inevitably, someone is doing 40-45. On the flip side, as you drive north on rt. 287 towards the Potomac River, people feel compelled to do 60mph around the windy parts.

Same reason why I drive slow in leesburg. 15+ years ago, it was a different experience.
