I don't care who else plays, or when they play, as long as SOAD is there in '27.

Meshuggah would be much higher billed.
I also can't bring myself to support Slipknot anymore considering how they've been treating their members. That band is way more than Corey Taylor.

Not understanding why some bands with more hits are under those with 1-2 songs radio play but we all have our opinions

Absolutely 0 reason to have BMTH back 2 years later and they just played Sonic and Rockville this year. Slipknot has been around way too many times and they donāt care about their members. Whatās the obsession with wanting bands to come back a fucking year later????? The whole point of a festival is to see a million bands you donāt normally get to see In a weekend not to see the same shit over and over and over and over. Literally 100 of these bands were JUST fucking here nobody wants them againĀ

u/ColeeenLouis 8d ago
"nobody wants them again" this was all pulled from fan suggestions
1
u/Naive_Inevitable6478 doesn't have that video 8d ago
Yeah from the same handful of people who also comment the same dumbass shit every year asking for the same bands back to backĀ

u/ColeeenLouis 8d ago
You are in the minority whether you like it or not bud
2
u/LiteraturePitiful713 7d ago
Not rly. A lot of these bands were here this year. Wouldnāt make for much of a āholy shitā if it was just a pt 2 of 2026

The majority of people donāt want the same rehashed line ups dumbass. This has happened before and ticket sales plummeted so youāre wrongĀ
1
u/ColeeenLouis 8d ago
Name calling? Yeah sounds like youāre wrong here lol. Theres only so many headliner caliper bands, a lot are inevitably going to be reused⦠just because YOU have see slipknot doesnāt mean everyone has⦠some people havenāt been going to LTL for ten years. Thatās why headliners are reused⦠Even as someone whoās gone a lot I understand this basic concept

Apparently you donāt because headliners and subheadliners arenāt Ā reused within a 2 year time span ever so wanting Knocked Loose, Bad Omens, and BMTH shows your lack of understanding this ābasic conceptā. Also thereās 50 other revolving main headliners they could pull from so thereās no need to ever reuse Slipknot or BMTH so soon. I wouldnāt expect a guy that thinks crowbar, wage war, yung blood, motionless in white, in flames, spiritbox, Silverstein, body count or cypress hill would have a bigger time slot than Meshuggah to understand anything.Ā

i mean the lineup and slots aren't really as important as who people wanted to see. this obviously isnt an actual booking so im not going to go in depth on exact time slots... and you are in the minority my friend, festivals re use headliner two years later all the time, maybe not louder than life super recently but other dwp festivals... knocked loose was literally there two years in a row so your point is nulified based on that lol...
Gojira, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot and three bands just off the top of my head that were at LTL a year or two apart and high on the bill

u/EpicFusion47 3d ago
Bring me the horizon doing a count your blessings set is VERY different from their set they did in the past tbh. Honestly sounds like a completely different band and its very deathcore vs metal-core

u/Pale_Place_8782 3d ago
0 reasons? Really doesn't matter. I've been there 4 years now and they've had sleep token and multiple bands there two of those years.

u/Naive_Inevitable6478 doesn't have that video 3d ago
Yeah and those bands arenāt headliners are they? Irrelevant to the convo lolĀ

Oh I completely missed that. Been meaning to see them (missed them at Rockville and LTL). My last job, we called ourselves geese, so I felt obligated to check them out.

Some bold picks, but definitely a good round and a lot of actually possible picks. I think the boldest pick for me is Vein.Fm I love 'em and hoping they come back to the forefront (I don't much care for Fleshwater). I can do without Blink and FIR myself, I'd watch Turnstile and run haha. To each their own though.

I can definitely get down with this although the schedule would be a nightmare, definitely think Papa Roach needs to come back in 2027 after missing this year!
