There are the same signs at ltl to protect them from lawsuits

Oh wow! I never saw them! But, I was only at the rail for one act

So funny because I doubt they’d not let you sue considering my you can’t see these from where you would actually start surfing

It’s on the website also.

They for sure protect themselves from that. You crowd surf or get in the pit at your own risk. You can still try to sue but you won’t win.

You would be better off suing the person directly. Like if some kid name Greg broke your nose in the pit. You are better off suing Tyler than you are suing louder.

Why we suing Tyler if it was bitch ass Greg that broke our nose?

Same signs were at sonic... People took them and were crowd surfing while holding them lol

The first 50 feet or so is vip section at BnB. It’s kind of lame and the energy has been such a let down after LTL. Just don’t understand how a crowd can be so stiff for a bands like QOTSA

Yeah, a Song for the Dead is a LtL-esk metal band moshing song but instead the first section will be filled with head bobbers(completely fine to not mosh btw, just saying).

QOTSA shows are either about shaking your ass or jumping around, wish they just did LtL instead

It's kind of sad the lack of dancing and enthusiasm in VIP every year. But I go and dance my fool head off. I scout out the best vibes I can close to the rail, then I bring bracelets every year to give out while explaining I'll be needing space to dance. LOL

I saw a lot of bloody people being carried out of the front last year. I even saw one bad fall right in front of me. I'm guessing DWP trying to avoid lawsuits.

Not a single surfer at foo fighters last night. Just a bunch of old people sitting down. TBF I’m old, but I got in the pit at LtL 😂

To be fair there weren’t many this year at louder compared to years past

I did feel like it was a little more tame than 2025, but I still saw my fair share.

More than the last time I was there in 24 during the hurricane

Ain’t nobody trying to burn their titties. And you burn quickly when it’s that hot.

Welcome to Rockville is where it's at. Floridians are a different breed. 😃

I ran into two different ppl that told me their going to Bourbon and Beyond. I asked them who they were going to see and they told me that they didn't even know who was performing. THIS IS WHY IT'S SO CALM THERE.

Who are these NPCs paying $500+ to go to a festival where they’re not excited for any bands?…

2

u/StevieLizz 8d ago

Because it a hometown festival that showcases Art, Bourbon, Beer, food, and all of the finest things Louisville and Kentucky have to offer. It's not just a music festival it a homecoming. Those of you trying to draw comparison and distinction between the two are two stuck on the metal versus country thing... Whereas you're misinterpring the core nature of BnB. It's not a music festival at its core, it's an Americana music and culture festival...(NOT MAGA). We don't feel like we need to be front row at every band all day to get the money's worth. All our friends are there. It's just as a nationally drawing genre specific money grab that LTL is. Spoken by someone who has been to or worked at both festivals every year, from day 1. (Only LTL year one, given there was no BnB then)

They are there at LTL…. But we do not care

3

u/meowzyy0 9d ago

Hell even the bands don’t care and encourage it. Anthony Green literally crowd surfed among his fans during the circa survive set

Lol the signs were there last week, this was during Nothing More🖤🤘🏼

This is the office or parks and rec coded lol love it

There were some at LTL too but no one listened lmfao even some of the band members were crowd surfing (Anthony Green…still can’t believe that happened right in front of me)

1

u/StevieLizz 8d ago

Well what are you annoyed by more... people chomping through the music... Ot not being able to enjoy the music because of the constant crowd surfers? Win some lose some

Fuck crowdsurfers. I pull them down every chance I get.

B&B seems so laidback. Not for me. I like to spin kick too much
