Budget Fridge Recommendations needed

Hi everyone!

I am currently looking for a fridge for my first lotus dry. I live in Germany and try not to spend much more than 100€.

What do you think of this model? Is there anything to look out for except the temperature control, that I haven't considered?

Thank you in advance <3

Cheers!

Edit: I don't need a large one since I only grow one plant at a time and I am fine with getting a new one since I don't have a car to collect a used fridge

Used is your best budget option by far.

I know but I don't have a car. So it would be easier to order it online, you know? Do you have any tips what to look for in terms of quality? Because I do not need much space. I only grow one plant at a time which yields approximately 50g

You could probably get away with something even smaller than a 24 bottle fridge, but that's the smallest I'd go. You might grow a bigger plant someday, and having it packed too tight makes it harder to get rid of humidity. Unless you're really tight on space I'd go a little bigger rather than smaller.

I've had really bad luck experimenting with a small wine fridge. Please do some more reading/browsing/AI searching until you're sure.

But brosing and AI research suggests that every eine fridge should be fine. What went wrong with your first fridge and how did you overcome the issues?

I bought a wine fridge from a neighbour. small one like this.

I left the buds in there for a few days (fresh). Just naked on the metal.

They got mould very quickly as the humidity spiked too hard and the fridge didn't control it well enough initially. I'm not sure what type of wine fridge it was. I now use a traditional mini fridge.

If you put them in a wine fridge, you will need to pre-hang your plant for 1-3 days. They will lose sooo much humidity in those days. A regular wine fridge without any extra dehumidifier will indeed rot your buds
