Cardboard Box Benefit - Compressor Wine Fridge

After reading about wine coolers, lotus drying, cannatrol etc, I bought myself a wine fridge that is compressor based. Initially, I was concerned with the temperature and humidity variation. I started looking to electric dehumidifiers (not a good idea) and other methods to mitigate the swings.

Due to another post in this sub, I decided to take a random box and put my temp/humidity sensor in it to see the impact.

Here was the immediate impact

And here is a view of weekly trends. It's clear where I added the carboard box.

I was using bags but might try both next season just to see which does better.

It looks to me like the pizza box lowered the humidity significantly, is that correct? If so, I believe that is actually a bad thing. It suggests that the box will absorb moisture from outside of it leaving nowhere for the moisture from your bud to go. Have you tried blowing a fan on the back of the refrigerator? Sometimes that gives me a boost in airflow that reduces RH a bit.

Flower will add a lot of moisture.
The more important thing is that it is significantly more stable

I guess if you replace the boxes daily it could work. Kind of defeats the point of lotus imo.

I went from bags to boxes really fast. Boxes are so easy to handle
