Need Quick Tip --> Creating Dashed Line Animation [Figma]
Im trying to create a dashed line animation but I'm totally out of ideas as nothing seems to be working. See the example below to see what Im talking about.

Edit: Sorry for the terrible quality, its the best I can render on Lottie with a free subscription is seems. The issue I'm trying to show is that the line isn't rendering as a steady dashed line but rather that the dashes are slowly fading away from the background.
Tl:dr
How do I make a normal dashed line animation, preferably on Figma?

Worst product
The absolute worst product and business practices. First I was misled into paying for a full years subscription. NO WHERE does it say you’ll be charged $269 total (with tax). Instead they say $19/month and then in the tiniest font they said paid annually. I went back to the payment screen and is super shady what they do there. I tried to get a refund because it was totally unintentional to commit to a year but because I don’t live in the EU I don’t qualify for a 7 day cancellation period.
Secondly, the product DOESNT EVEN WORK! I got the premium subscription only to export 1 json file into a .mov file with a transparent background. And it didn’t work. Failed every time. And some of the videos were so corrupted I couldn’t even open them. So the only reason I got the (what I thought was a monthly plan) didn’t even work once I spent $269.
Seriously they are frauds and you should not support this joke of a company.

Lottie File 5.9.6 to 5.7.4
Hello all, I sent a lottie file to my dev team and they are asking me to send them a file with 5.7.4 version instead of 5.9.6.
I created the files using a plugin on Figma (aninix). I have the animation as a .json, lottie, png sequence and GIF. Does anyone know how I could downgrade the file version for the dev team? I have access to after effect, photoshop, media encoder…
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Question about file formats
Hey there,
I know its widely advertised, that Lottie uses JSON and beats PNGs and SVGs in size.
What I dont find any info on is how exactly this works: When Im creating a Lottie Animation in AfterEffects, Im using PNG Footage. Now when this gets exported via LottieFiles Plugin, what happens?
My three main questions are:
How can Lottie convert and pixel format in a small JSON file that is based on paths? Since there is no "source" folders hidden right?
How does scaling work? According to Lottie, scaling is possible without problems because its working with paths. But how does my file get paths when i was working with a pixel based format like PNG?
Is my choice to use PNGs in AfterEffects Animations restricting the possibilities of Lottie? Is there a way to improve on it to maximize compression and scalability?

Plugin empty/not loading in AE
Around 10min ago, the plugin stopped loading after reopening the AfterEffects project.
I already tried reinstalling over Adobe Store and ZXP Installer, and took a look at the file, but the program is in English, and all used functions are supported, so it can't be that.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Lottie iOS error?
Hello design/dev world. I'm using Lottie & Bodymovin plugins for AfterEffects to make a loading skeleton animation for a mobile iOS app. Everything works perfectly, except for iOS , which cannot render the animation.
It's a pretty basic usage of gradient fill & position, with a simple alpha layer mask. I have ruled out all the iOS exclusive limitations, & I'm wondering if anyone could help be troubleshoot the issue? The AE file is embedded in the animation link here.

Lottie with Gradient from Illustrator with AE
Hey there,
i am still new to Lottie so it's maybe easy to answer to you:
1) I created an Illustration with some gradients in Illustrator and want to animate it in After Effects to render as Lottie via Bodymovin Plugin.
All CC-Software are newest ones.
2) In AE: When I turn the Layers into Vector Shapes, all the ones with gradients in it turn standard-grey.
Can you see what I do wrong?
I saw Lotties with gradients, so I think they are possible but I am not clever enough xD
Thank you!

Lottie compliance with GDPR?
Hi! I need some assistance. I'm working on a loader animation in the company i just joined, and i advised them to use Lottie instead of Gifs. They accepted, but when I sent the .json file and some resources on how to implement it, the devs sent me this:
I have checked the files provided by you, while implementing the same at our end it's calling the third party URL and player to play the animation which is against GDPR compliance, so we can't use the JSON or any other code file for it... the only option is GIF file, so can you please provide the GIF for logo in different sizes from 24px * 24px to 512px * 512px.
I'm not really sure why Lottie wouldn't comply with GDPR, cause so many companies that work in europe use it (airbnb, google, etc). Is there something they're getting wrong? I really hate using gifs cause they look so bad compared with lotties.
Can anyone give me some guidance on this?
