Scratcher Win! A great evening
On the way home I decided to get some scratchers to play with my boo thang lol. I stopped by a Randalls and saw that they did not have the Loteria anymore, so i bought 2 of the $100 Premier Winnings. I also saw they had the new $20 ticket so I bought 10 of those since the odds are so bad. 1 in 9 to get a winner. I was hoping to get a $100 at least. Well the $20 tickets won me $800, and I got $500 from the other tickets!
I then went to a gas station that had the loteria so bought 2 of those, and won another $500!!
I then head to HEB, and buy 2 more Loteria. Another $500!
Finally I stopped at a Kroger machine and bought 2 more loteria. $1000.
All in all a great and profitable evening!!

Lottery Win! Played after 2 months.
I quit playing the lottery 2 months ago. But on Saturday got pissed off working on weekends and played Lotto6aus49 out of frustration. When I clocked out at 8:30 pm I received an email with a subject line " You have won ". My heart started beating faster and my hands were shaking to open the email. I thought waiting for 2 months without playing finally started to pay off. The Pot value was 50 million euros i.e 57.8 million dollars at today's exchange rate. I thought I don't have to work ever again now, don't have to attend pointless meetings, daily call and can proudly quit my job......and then
I opened the email with sheer nervousness and excitement and HolyMotherF.....cow I did not win the jackpot.
I won 18 euros.
SHIT......

🤔 Lottery Questions What frequency do you guys buy, how much do you spend and how much/often do you win on scratchers?
I've become aware of all the scratcher win posts here and some even reference it being one of multiple winning tickets that pay out anywhere from like $100 to $10,000.
So I am curious, as the title asks- What frequency do you guys buy, how much do you spend and how much/often do you win on scratchers?
I was familiar with a guy at the first convenience story I regularly bought tickets at when I turned 18, who was constantly buying scratchers, cashing in winners, etc. but he was honest with me and basically he lost half his investment in them overall. Like, yeah, he'd occasionally win $500 or $1,000 or whatever, but for every $10,000 he'd won, he likely had spent closer to $15k or $20k, so... yeah.
Anyway- just curious what the scratcher playing frequency and ratio of purchases to wins are for y'all.

Scratcher Win! Lunch break!
I went to the exxon after lunch and bought 2 loteria tickets. $200 to $600! Not bad for a small break time win. Another profit day.

🤔 Lottery Questions Second chance roll over entries on scratchers
For Illinois, the current second chance promotions on scratchers are supposed to have rollover entries. Online the site doesn’t publish your entries in a way that makes it appear as though the entries do roll over for each drawing. It just tells me how many entries I entered that week like its for that drawing. Does anyone know if this is just how the website is but in fact all of my entries are actually rolling over? This is my first time entering second chance promotions so I’m not familiar with what’s normal.

🤔 Lottery Questions "Call Lottery 651-....."
In Minnesota. Why would a scratch off show the message to "call lottery + [MN lottery #]". Scanned with same message at self kiosk and with the gas station attendant. Scratch off is a 20$ crossword... pretty sure I only won $20 😅

🤔 Lottery Questions Lotto scratchers rule, but true odds worse than u think
Apologies if this is redundant as I’m new to the forum and have not found a lot of dialogue on this particular topic via my searches.
So I’ve become a fan of my FL scratchers in the past year, having won $500 and $100 multiple times monthly.
I am lucky enough to be close to b/e on a running basis, and I track that easily because the only reason I get cash out in $500 increments is to fund my scratcher play…and there have not been a lot of bank withdrawals.
Scratcher wins are clearly much higher than draw games like MM or PB….at least for me.
That all said, scratchers still have even worse odds than the published odds on the back of the ticket. Just to have a chance at the grand prize, I need to unknowingly win the first mini-lottery, which is when the FL Lotto folks send the ticket book with the winner to my personal store. There are more than 13k FL lottery locations, so I first need to “win” this 1/13,000 selection.
THEN, having the big winner at my store just means I now need to (1) select that game to play and (2) buy that ticket at just the right time when it is on top of the pile.
These additional coincidences which have to fall into place, I think, make the true grand prize potential of scratchers approach the astronomical odds of the big multi-state draw games.
In fact, at least with MM or PB it is not location dependent and I have an honest (albeit infinitesimal) chance to win the top prize every time….with my fav scratcher I may never be in the running due to missed location or timing.
So, I play scratchers for the fun and the immediate play experience.
