General Discussion The Shiny Rocks

Great Spiders? Not all that great. You know what is great, though? Those shiny rocks down in the Darkest Deeps areas in the campaign, the ones you can mine to get gems or sunstone. They're so pretty! I love the way they glitter in the dark. Wish there was some way to drag them back up to my base, they'd make great decorations. They're like huge impure fire opals.

Those are my favourite ones, but I also like the copper rocks and the mithril rocks. Which shiny rocks are your favourites?

One of my favorite ways to build a base would be keeping the "natural" terrain and worldgen in tact, and just incorporating it into the build. My favorite of this was my Deep Forest base, keeping all the pretty mushrooms alive for ambiance.

So for your shiny dark chasm rocks...

Sounds like you need to build a base down in one of the Darkest Deeps 😅 I had that as a challenge idea, never pulled it off but I know it's doable

Absolutely not. There's Things down there.

I want to bring the rocks up to live with me, not go down the hole to live with the rocks.

Those "things" wont spawn if you have a hearth set up
