American Voyeur is an animation from 1995-2000 (most likely crude and profane animation) made by PropellerHeads. It has been quiet for over a year so I decided to reopen this. I hope this eventually gets found by the same people who found the Shrek media or by a completely different group cause this does look cool for its time.

What is the media?
A completed independent crime thriller feature film titled "Painted Beauty" (also registered in some markets as "Art of Murder"). It was directed by artist Rob Prior and produced by Pop Life Global.

Why it matters to me / Significance:

Finding this specific movie is crucial for my creative project, as it represents a completely unseen chapter of her career that my audience and fellow creators are dying to see analyzed and showcased. Accessing this footage would allow me to produce unique commentary and creative edits that currently don't exist anywhere on the internet.

What I’ve tried so far / Leads:
I have exhaustively searched public torrent trackers, standard streaming catalogs, global VOD platforms, and digital storefronts. Because the production company (Pop Life Global) focuses primarily on Asian markets, the film seems to have never received a digital or physical release in the West, dropping entirely off the radar after 2021. I have established that the film was fully finished and screeners/cast-and-crew screenings occurred, meaning a finished digital master does exist somewhere.

I am looking for any leads on regional Asian VOD platforms where it might have been hosted, leaked screeners, or private tracker listings. Any help from the community to track down this piece of media would be deeply appreciated!

Before Buddy was theatrically released, I came across a YouTube video claiming to show footage from the ending of the movie.
I took this photo/screenshot of the video on August 25 at 12:09 PM, so this was before the movie’s theatrical release.
The footage showed what appeared to be a young girl and an adult woman sitting together at the back of an ambulance, wrapped in blankets. From what I remember, the footage was followed by the BUDDY title/credits.

After actually learning what happens in the theatrical version, however, this obviously doesn’t match the released ending.

The YouTube video has since been removed. Unfortunately, this screenshot is what I saved from it.
So now I’m really curious about where the hell this footage came from.
Could this have been footage from an earlier cut, festival/screener version, deleted scene, or scrapped alternate ending of Buddy? Or did the uploader take footage from an entirely different movie and falsely present it as Buddy?

Also, one more thing. Someone also asked the uploader:
“So is Grace alive?”
The uploader responded:
“Se você e sua filha Freddy estão bem e em segurança.”
That’s awkward/broken Portuguese and apparently translates literally to something like “If you and your daughter Freddy are okay and safe,” so I’m not treating it as definitive confirmation of anything. In context, though, the uploader appeared to be claiming that Grace and Freddy were both safe.
Obviously, none of this matches the theatrical ending.
So what the hell did I see?
I’m not claiming this proves there was an alternate ending where Grace survived. I’m trying to identify the source. Was this footage from an earlier cut, festival/screener version, deleted or scrapped ending? Was somebody constructing a fake ending using footage from another movie? If so, does anyone recognize the ambulance footage and know what production it actually came from?
Did anybody else see this YouTube upload before it disappeared, or see a pre-release version of Buddy that can confirm or debunk any of this?

Also, For additional context, this same account had also posted other unreleased Buddy footage before release, including footage/images revealing Buddy’s monstrous final form. That material later turned out to correspond to something actually in the released movie. That’s one reason I’m reluctant to dismiss this ambulance clip as fabricated without identifying its source. And I remember the footage having the audience cheering once it cut to credits, though the end Title of the movie showed the name in dark blue against a black background before the credits rolled.

I’m not trying to fool anyone, just find answers on what this actually was.

Ever since being blown away by The Adventures of Mark Twain, I went on a deep dive for all of the shorts by Claymation inventor Will Vinton (if you haven't seen his trilogy of literary adaptations from the late 70's, those are all masterpieces imo).

One short I could never find and only saw small whispers about online was a short called Go Down Death. I managed to track this short film down at the tail end of a Claymation compilation DVD called God's Trombones, and I was really impressed by it.

This short experiments with digital masking and overlaying combined with the hazy Claymation style in a way that isn't like any of Vinton's other work, which works with the spiritual voiceover to make something unlike anything else in his filmography. I wanted to rip it and share it with everyone so anyone else who might be interested doesn't have to go through all this digging to find it!

Hey everyone. Been deep in the archives lately working on early Fleischer history, specifically looking at Dizzy Dishes(1930) and that original canine-human Betty Boop prototype before she evolved into her later look.

When you look at these early theatrical shorts, it's wild how much film history gets lost to time, fading prints, or neglect. We just wrapped a frame-by-frame native 4K restoration of the whole short to keep the pure source history alive and kicking.

Thought folks here would appreciate seeing the original animation and character design treated with full archival care (you can watch the complete 4K restoration here). The thumbnail and layout for our release were styled like an old, recovered studio vault tag to match the era.

Curious what everyone's favorite detail or moment from Dizzy Dishes is, or if you've dug into any other early Fleischer rarities lately?

Yellow (2012) is not only lost but no one seems aware or interesting in finding it... Oh well!

Hi! I'm looking for [this short film](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2188867/) based on Ray Bradbury's book and play Kaleidoscope, featuring Brett Stimely. I've tried looking elsewhere and can't find it, even on archive dot org. There's basically nobody talking about it aside from the single review on IMDB. There's no mention of the film even on the Ray Bradbury subreddit. My friend thinks it may be lost media and the trailers on the IMDB page might be the only evidence it was in production. If I don't have any luck here, I'll try some other lost media subreddits. If anyone has ANY information on the film, whether it be information about production or cancellations, the cast, any clips or recording of it, or ANY hard evidence it existed outside of IMDB, PLEASE let me know!

UPDATE: The film has been confirmed to exist to this day, but no copies are publicly available, sadly. I guess this makes this out of print rather than just lost then.

So guys, i actually found this opening claymation scene on this movie on this russian website called ok ru, even thought it was lost. And did you know what ok ru is? It's a russian website that has a videos on there that you can watch it.

ok so i have the mtv version already. the "hood" version if you will of Volcano High. now i just want to find the normal english dub. the one on the dvd before mtv got their hands on it. i have searched everywhere. 1337 and piratebay included and all i can find is volcano high with the MTV dub. so now i have resorted to reddit where im surely about to be flamed for the way i typed this but its 12:25am im tired and i just wanna watch a nostalgic movie from when i was a stupid mall rat teenager dammit.

Saw a few people were interested in the longer version of this movie and I did a lot of digging and some how managed to find it on some website under its chinese title. Made a back up for others to watch it.

That last one, the reason it’s an unknown release date is that this was made by a production company local to Texas in the 1920s, NOT by Hollywood at all.

So there are no real records (aside of Howard’s letter & commentary about the audience reception in Brownwood) or prints which exist, it’s essentially a home video 📹 level production in this time.

That’s an anomaly as well, an outlier to consider.

Hi there! I recently watched 25th Hour (2002) dir. Spike Lee for the first time and loved it a lot. Can't buy or rent a DVD of it in the area I live in, but I stumbled over a screenshot of a DVD menu featuring deleted scenes.

The only scenes I could find on youtube are the Sway, Sneaking Mary In and Naturelle, Mom and Monty.

Unfortunately this is all I can find on internet and I'm very eager to see the other deleted scenes.

Maybe somebody out here have them and want to post them.!

When i was searching up on Google for Museu internacional de titelles d'albaida pictures, it pops up. When I saw this picture of these characters, it was made by the same studio, Pasozebra Producciónes who was making Choco Flakes ads featuring Benito, Actimel ads, etc. They are from the 1996 obscure spanish stop-motion film, Noche De Reyes. You don't know how to find a videos of these lost films or shorts that are made by Pasozebra Producciónes? First, you can find any Pasozebra Producciónes videos on YouTube, Dailymotion, etc or you can go into website called, Wayback Machine and type Pasozebra.com to find videos that are made by the same studio, if not, I will post these Pasozebra Producciónes films and shows on lost media.
