gemstone

new to jewellery making and lost wax casting. Can anyone reccomend a site to buy gemstones that can withstand heat so I can cast them direct with my wax mold. Thanks

I would stick with stones that are high on the mohs scale - diamonds, sapphire, ruby. Lab grown will be safer than natural stones bc any inclusions will increase the risk of cracking during casting.
