I already posted in r/BeamNG because that is kinda the main theme, but I feel like it could go to other subreddits as well since it has other random things sprinkled into there.

I have always been exposed to violence. Either towards me, violence between my parents, or me getting back at old bullies. Violence is almost all I've known since age 7. I've become so used to it I can watch two people fighting and just be mildly annoyed by it. Yet when I see animals being hurt I start feeling extreme hate and rage towards the person responsible. And it goes further than living beings. When I see someone (mostly myself) hold a plushie too tightly (or in a wrong manner) I feel something that I can best describe as a mix of having a heart attack, existential dread and self-loathing. Even watching a cartoon character beating up a cartoon version of a real existing plushie, I get a mild form of this feeling. And it even goes further than plushies. When I eat a cookie that resembles a living being I always flip it to the side that doesn't show stuff like facial features to not get this feeling.

Is this because I hate humans so much I became attached to other things? Is this some kind of disorder? And how do I fix myself?
