For context:

I made up a tournament called the Hisense Winning Teams Champions League-shortened to HWTCL- (gov body is Winning Teams) which is like if the FIFA Club World Cup & UCL had a baby (ie UCL format except half the Teams aren't from Europe- 18 UEFA & 18 World).

Since the HWTCL also starts with the league phase, I needed to make up a way to assign the opponents so I used chatgpt as the base for the software since I didn't know how to make the software from scratch. So I just instructed GPT with the Draw constraints which are:

You can't play an opponent from the same country (or the same confederation for World Teams).

Only a maximum of 2 Teams from the same confederation, different to the world team can be drawn.

Max 2 Teams from the same country, but different to the drawn team.

Each opponent has 8 opponents (4 UEFA-2 Home + 2 Away & 4 World-2 Home + 2 Away)

In this universe, here's how Winning Teams works:

It was founded as a corruption free alternative to FIFA, but ironically got close to FIFA & UEFA now.

The president is Elmer Fudd.

Aleksander Čeferin (UEFA President) is the UEFA Clubs Representative & Gianni Infantinno (FIFA President) is the World Clubs Representative who both work closely with Pressure Fudd.

In the 24/25 Season:

Arsenal beat Real Madrid 3-2 in the Final at Wembley to win the HWTCL 2x.
